🇯🇵 What’s Inside Expo 2025 Osaka Japan? (Full Tour!)

I think I’m too excited for this. They’ve got a robot on display here. Definitely makes our day. Inside the XD Hall is where we’re going to be doing our Monster Hunter experience. Good morning. Good morning. It’s 6:00 a.m. right now. And the reason why we’re awake so early, that’s because we’re going to the World Expo now. We’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews. so far on this expo. Yeah. Uh, a lot of negative. It only happens once every 5 years and we’re in Osaka. Yeah. I feel like if not because we’re in Osaka, we probably won’t go. Yeah. This probably might be our only time, our only chance to go to an expo. So, we’re going to give it a shot. And I guess we’ll be the judge of whether it’s good or bad or not. Okay. I feel like we’re in the middle of a war zone right now. And we’re in line for a shuttle bus to take us to the expo. So, there’s a east gate and a west gate. The east gate, you can take a subway directly there. So, it’s really, really convenient. So, we heard that there’s going to be a lot more people at the east gate. So, we chose the west gate. Uh there’s a little bit more transportation involved, but we were hoping for less people. But I mean, it’s it’s only 7:30 and uh the shuttle doesn’t start until 8:00 and there’s already a crowd big crowd of people. There’s going to be a bigger crowd even at the expo, too. So, it’s going to be a lot of fun today. We were hoping for less of people in the west gate. We were wrong. There’s already like probably 5 to 600 peoples ahead of us. And we’re here maybe like around 8:15. It’s just really hard to enjoy this kind of things anymore. I feel like I’m like we’re reaching the limit. I’ve never seen this in my life. [Applause] We made it in and we have a reservation with uh Mitsubishi at 910 to 9:35. Honestly, I don’t even know if we can make it or maybe we’ll try to No, we’ll do something else. We should be able to make it, but we did hear lots of bad reviews on Mitsubishi. So, we’re going to try and see if we can get another reservation, but we’ll see. We still have hope. They just started. So, So for me today, the pavilions I really want to go definitely Canada, maybe Japan, but uh I don’t know, Japan might be too popular. And if we can’t make it to Japan, I mean, we’re already in Japan, so that works out. And we also want to go to see some pavilions that the countries that we’re going to visit after. So it feels like a little like a small preview for us. And uh we also heard that um we bring our passport um we can have priority to go into the Canadian pavilions. We’ll go see to find out if that’s true. I think that makes sense. Like they should let their own citizen to go in first, but we’ll see. 10 minutes after you scan your QR code, you can start to book the on-site reservations. Uh, we managed to get Japan, but you can only make one reservation at a time. So, right now it’s 9:15. We booked Japan for noon, and that means we have to wait until afternoon until we can try and book another one. [Music] Sorry, I will take back what I said about the madness. Like, look at this. This is a real madness. We’re close to the east gate. So many people. And I feel like definitely use a west gate if we’re coming in. It’s We’re walking in the Mitsubishi Pavilion. We uh we got this reservation on the 3-day first come first serve. We’re all done in the Mitsubishi pavilion. We weren’t allowed to take any videos or pictures, so we had to put everything away. It was okay. It was just like a movie. I mean, the screen was really cool. is like curved and in your face and the animations were nice. For me, I kind of understand why people have such a fabric view for it because they’re just giving a really simple scan lecture of how life spread and how they’re trying to search lives in Mart, but I mean I was hoping to see something more related to their company. So now we’re going to go find some walk-in pavilions. Hopefully we can find one before we go to the Japan one. We are going to the Vietnam pavilion. This is where we’re going to be November or December. November. I don’t know. Jordan’s going to try putting. He said he’s not good at it. No, I don’t like putting. [Music] No. Got it. No. to the mess. Oh. Wow. Oh, you didn’t even pick it up. You should pick it up, robot. All right, we’re not hiring that robot. We found a Canadian pavilion. See if our passports help us out. Okay, guess our passport works. We can get into the reservation line with our reservation. Looks like someone’s sitting there, but nope. There’s nobody there. [Music] [Music] I don’t know how you can aim that well. Oh. Oh, nice. Nice. We just finished the Canadian pavilion and now we’re waiting in line to get some some poutine. This one looks really good. We see a lot of people with it and it it looks and smells really good. Canada was cool. Nothing mindblowing though. Yeah. And I feel a little bit bad to say it. Like I our curelians looks like it’s going to fall apart any second. Comparing to all the other countries that they’re they’re having like this like fancy boutique construction. Ours is just like a really temporarily made. Yeah, they should have made it like a fake igloo. But yeah, it’s just like white and some of the panels look like they’re falling off. Yeah, I think I’m too excited for this. might be a highlight of my day here. Thank you. How do you feel right now, Jordan? A little disappointed they’re not using real cheese curds. Yeah, it’s like just like shredded mozzarella it looks like. But ice cream looks good. Has maple flavored ice cream. They’re so expensive. This is $8, guys. This is $15. And we were even joking about it. They might sell poutine for $20. I thought it was a joke. And they do have a worship for $20. Yeah, they had a Calgary rodeo poutine for $22. You get some bacon and steak on top. Crazy. Does it taste like the one from Canada? No, it’s it’s good. I mean, maybe because I haven’t had poutine in so long, but uh No, I was expecting a little bit better, but it’s it’s still good. It’s better than nothing. Better than no poutine, I guess. Yeah. So, we’re on top of the Grand Ring now. We got 1 hour to kill before our Japan reservation. We’re going to try and walk all of it. Yeah. I don’t know. It seems pretty big. So, I I’m not sure if we could even walk the whole thing in 1 hour. Maybe we could. I don’t know. I can’t tell cuz just it seems really big. Yeah. You get a nice view of all the pavilions behind us and then you got a ocean on the other side. Yeah, Australia seems pretty cool, but the lineup is kind of crazy. And here’s Saudi Arabia. Spain looks pretty cool, too. Maybe we can make it back in here. [Music] So, we finished walking the entire ring and it took us about 30 35 minutes. Uh, just in time for us to go get in line for the Japan pavilion. We made it into the Japan pavilions and Jordan have a hack for you guys. So for all the speeration ones, once they send your QR code, you got in, you can cancel it right away. So now you can book your next speation. So you don’t you save like an hour. So the Japan pavilions have three parts. Uh factory, farms, and plants. And this is the factory. So they’re showing how like they’re recycling all this material to like a new thing, giving everything a new life. [Music] [Music] They say this is a Martian rock and we get to feel it. [Music] I don’t really feel much. I don’t I don’t I don’t feel anything. So, this is the largest Mars rock on Earth. [Laughter] [Music] So, we’re all done with the Japan Pavilion. I think it was pretty cool. Uh, a lot of cool rooms. I think it was the best one so far. And near the end, they gave us this like little plastic envelope. They say it’s uh 100% biodegradable. It It feels just like plastic, though. So, pretty cool. Okay, we’re going to try our luck to see if we can get into Spain pavilion lineup since maybe not that crazy. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Okay, we’re in and out. We started our lineup at 2:00 and get out at 2:20. So, the lineup is pretty short, but I mean, there’s a reason for it. There’s not much to see inside. I mean, unless you’re going to read all the history, but yeah, it’s like a lot of science and we’re not scientists neither. So, show me some future technology. We haven’t seen that yet other than the algae stuff at Japan. But yeah, like everything else is just like telling us I don’t know, oceans, plants, reusable stuff. Honestly, now I think about it, I think Canadian pavilions were pretty fun. At least you got to like interactive. Yeah, like this is just like a museum that you walk in and out in 10 minutes. Less than 10 minutes even. I want to see some flying cars and jetpacks or something. Ray gun. So now we’re going to go to Germany. Like Jordan heard that Germany have the fast. It’s like one of the fast pavilions. So we’re going to see if we can get in. So, we made it in the line for the Germany pavilion. Said the whole line should only take about 30 minutes. So, hopefully we can get in quickly. Okay. So, this is the audio guy. This is when you can choose your language. And now he speak English. There’s the white dot. You’re controlling the white dot. You can hover over one of those topics. Whoa. Vertical farm city. So, the most popular one was social city and vertical. I mean, I picked two pretty popular ones. So, so this is a stream that you can explore. All this project is happening in uh also you can feel this carpet is made out of recycled plastic and other pet balls and everything like different materials. But it’s really soft. Like I cannot tell that this is recycled at all. The city for use materials like you’re basically the uh construction worker search the city for materials that you construction. So right now you found some wood, but this one’s not anymore. So you can throw it out just here’s a wall of a lot of different recycled materials. You can be recycled in your clothes and you can pick whatever material you want and you can try it on. Fungi skin is made out of mushrooms andora is recycled dog hair. That’s the only two I know. Oh, one’s made out of micro algae, too. Okay. So, this is what it looks like on Jordan. And you can see it’s made up of dog hair. So, there’s a little dog hair. Look, we’re laying down being spent on this comfortable couch. There’s also recycle. So crazy. Yeah. And this is the really last room. And then there’s like a like a small video says playing on the circle and uh to this is a room for us to reflect what we have learned from this experience. I think this is pretty cool and there’s a lot of uh interaction in here especially with this thing. There are a little audio guy. Bye-bye. Okay, so we’re done the German pavilion. I don’t know how long that took, but there’s a lot of stuff to do in there. Yeah, it’s like the really first pavilions that I felt like I learned something. And also because uh when we walked in, they saw us with a camera. They asked us if we’re YouTuber. Yes, we are, but we’re not getting any views. Anyway, they they gave us a guide. We kind of felt bad cuz our channel’s so small, but uh he was like so nice. His name is Benjamin. And then like he helped us with the whole tour, explained a lot of things that I felt like without him I probably would not like pay attention. So like he point out a lot of like cool things. Yeah. Another thing is 90% of the whole German pavilion is going to be recycled. So that’s pretty cool that that whole structure is going to be used again. Okay, now we’re in another line for Malaysia, which where we going to be in August? We’re going to be there in August. So, this is a little preview before we go. [Music] Wow, look at that. They use stroll for farming. That’s cool. So hungry isn’t having a good place to go. [Music] So there was a little machine that we can send a message to all the people in Malaysia. I wanted to say see you guys in August, but I only got 15 characters. So I just said see you soon. And also while we’re doing that, we got like uh lucky visitor 8. So he the staff said that we can get a gift at the end of this thing cuz we are lucky. So it took us maybe like 20 minutes to in line up and then the whole thing inside it was like around 20 minutes. And they do have they serve real food in there. They look really tasty. And uh this is the free gift that we got from Malaysia Pavilions. This is so nice. Like I think it’s like a pin, but looks a little bit I don’t know. Or maybe it’s a button. But yeah, the definitely makes our day. Since the Malaysian food sounds so good, we decided to walk back and got some fried chicken. And then the other one, I cannot pronounce it. I think it’s fried rice. Fried rice with fried chicken as well. Looks pretty good. And this is what we’re going to have for dinner today. So, we just finished dinner and we’re walking into a common A. So, it’s like combinations of many, many countries. And there’s one countries I kind of want to go on our Asia trip. I still don’t know if we should go or not because it’s kind of far away from like a lot of things. This is Palao. It’s like a small ocean island. [Music] Papa New Guinea 3D hologram. Joe’s playing a game in the Barbados. Oh, here here. Oh, she jumped on a dog. Oh, sorry dog. They’ve got a robot on display here in the seeing kids and Navvice exhibit showing how his hand works. They want to do it. [Music] [Music] We can leave our wishes for Peru. So hopefully one day we can go there. Now we’re headed to our last reservation. We won this one in the 7-day lottery system. The whole reservations are kind of screwed up, but we’ve been spending all day trying to get on-site reservations with no luck. Other than the Japan, we got lucky early in the morning, probably cuz we came in very, very early. You also have to wake up at 5:00 a.m. to get that. Okay. Yeah. And that was the only one we got. I tried throughout the day, got nothing. But um we won the Monster Hunter Bridge experience in the uh 7day and I’m excited for this one because I played a lot of Monster Hunter on the PSP. Hopefully it’ll bring back some memories. Oh, but unfortunately I don’t think we are allowed to film in there. So, I just have to let you know how it goes after. Yeah. Inside the XD Hall is where we’re going to be doing our Monster Hunter experience. And they got these cool cool statues. I think I killed this red dragon a lot of times. Uh maybe his name’s Arathalos. I don’t know. All right, so we’re all done with the monster hunter experience. Yeah, we couldn’t film anything. We had to put everything in a locker and even Joe had to take off all of our jewelry. Yeah. Uh so we went in, we got a really fancy augmented reality headset. So, you get like these goggles and uh these earbuds that right beside your ear. There’s a like a vibrating uh platform. Uh yeah, it was really really cool. A lot of fun. And then you can like interact with all this like monster that show up and then you can touch them. You can throw rocks at them. And I definitely think this is like the best experience. Yeah, we’re really lucky. It was cool to see some familiar monsters slaying some of those monsters back in the day. But I mean, like for people who never played a game, it was still really fun. Yeah, you don’t have to play the game to enjoy this experience. I can see augmented reality video games being a a big hit in the future. Anyway, it’s close to the end of this whole day. So, I think we’re going to go walk back to the west gate to see the future city and then I will show you a little bit of the Gondam pavilions. We can’t get in, but we’ll show you the big Gam thing outside of the pavilion. Yeah. Heat. Heat. [Music] Come on. [Music] Hey. Hey. [Music] [Music] One more. One more. [Music] Okay, you seen the drone show. That means show’s over and all the pavilions are closed. Everything closed around 9:00 p.m. I think we went in with pretty low expectations, so it was it was pretty good overall. I think the the reservation system is a little bit unfair. Could be improved. Honestly, I feel like this is probably like a one of a lifetime experience. We probably won’t do it again. like we won’t fly to another country to attend their espo in the future and we don’t recommend you to fly all the way here for this one neither. I mean 95% or even more the people that comes in here are Japanese and then all this pavilions like everything was spoken in Japanese without any translation. So I feel like it’s more like expo just for Japanese people to see. So we we didn’t even see that many other tourists today. like it’s really rare. I’ve probably seen like maybe less than 100 foreigners in such a big event. So, I don’t know. Like, it’s good. It’s just different experience. And I think that’s it. All right. 1. 👉 Thanks for watching our Expo 2025 Osaka vlog! 🌸✨
Since the Japan Expo is almost over, would you visit the next World Expo in Saudi Arabia? Let us know in the comments! 👇🏼👇🏼

  2. Looks like an interesting day but not sure I'd travel from Tokyo for it and don't think I'll be going to Saudi Arabia for the next one. The drone show at the end looked quite good. I would recommend Peru, it has a spectacular landscape and Machu Picchu was an experience. Thanks for taking us around EXPO 2025.
