Exploring Fukuoka with Kids: 6 Fun & Easy Places by Public Transport!
Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. In this video I’m going to share six kids friendly spot in Fukoka from Fukoka Tower, Marine World to Nonin Temple. This sport are all in Fukuoka city and can be access using public transportations. Fukuoka is a vibrant city located in the northern shore of Kuzu, the southern most of Japan man Island. It’s one of the Japan largest city and fastest growing city known for its dynamic bland of urban energy, historic charms, and natural beauty. There’s only one direct flight to Fukoka from Singapore with a flight durations around 6 to 6 and half hour. The timing to go to Fukoka is not really good. You may need to spend a night on a flight which are not too convenient if you are traveling with kids. So do prepare yourself. Ok. So let’s dive in to this six spot in Fukoka. First spot is Fukoka Tower. Fukoka Tower is the Talas seaside tower in Japan. Its height is about 234 m and it is one of the most city iconic landmark. What make it truly unique is its beautiful design covered with half mirrors. The tower spark in the sunlight and glow with colorful lights at night. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a bread taking view of Fukoka City, Hakatabe Bay and even distant mountains if you are there in the clear day. It’s also a popular spot for couples, family, and travel looking to capture amazing photo or simply just to relax above the city. The tower also feature a lover century area adding a romantic touch on it. Next is umona kamichi seaside park. This is a massive familyfriendly park located on the scanic coastal peninsula. It’s of a full day of adventures. Its unique appeal is in the bland of nature, play, and also hands on animal experience. Your kid can meet and interact with animal such as kengurus, flamingos, and others in the animal forest zoo. The park is filled with large play area too, making it perfect for active children. You can ran bicycle there to explore the park. They have the one that includes a child seat all electric assistance. It is an easy way to explore the park ground with the picnic spot, barbecue area and a white green launch. It is actually an ideal place to relax and enjoy quality time together. Next is the marine work. It’s just a short walk from the park. This is the largest and most popular aquarium in Kusu island. It has more than 30,000 sea creatures across 350 spaces. Wow, that’s a lot. It has from shark, sardin, to playful dolphin, penguins, and also rare sea it means attractions include a spectacular open ocean tank and energizing dolphin performance. After exploring this aquarium, you can eat at one of the onside restaurants Riley. It’s located just right beneath the dolphin tank. While eating your meal, you can watch the dolphin swimming. Next stop is Hakata Old Town. This is a feastful and historical area just a shock walk from Hakata Station. It has a lot of beautiful temples and shrines. Each temple and shrines have their own uniqueness. You can enjoy walking through the narrow street filled with old merchant houses, traditional shop and cultural landmark that show Fukoka rich heritage. When you’re traveling with kids, you will appreciate the quiet gardens and small open space that your kid can play and relax. This area is easy to explore on food and it offer a calm atmosphere perfect from the city bassel. A visit to Hakata old town can be nicely wrap with the nearby city canel. It’s a large shopping mall and entertainment complex with fountain, kid friendly restaurants and regular show that add to the fun. The fifth and sixth spot are two famous and important temple around 30 to 50 minutes from the city area. The first one is nonoin temple. Nonzoin temple is just a short train ride fromoka city. It’s most famous for its big 41 met long bronze recycling Buddha. This is one of the largest in the world. You need to go through the beautiful atmospheric tunnel of the seven lucky gods to enter the statue ground. The temple complex is very huge and is good to explore on food. It has a clear walking part with forest shrines, small waterfall and bamboo grove. You can feel relaxed and calm here even though maybe your kids running around like crazy in the garden. This place is really an ideal place for contemplations, photography or just a feful retreat in the nature. Lastly, it’s Daaifu Tunmanggu. It is located just around 15 minutes from Fukoka City using the public bus. This is a stunning and spacious historical site that offers aic bland of culture, nature and atmosphere. The shrine is surrounded by beautiful landscape gardens with large open area ideal for strolling and relaxing. One of the most iconic feature here is a series of elegant bridges that cross over a ponds filled with fish. This is a very beautiful and a lovely place to take picture. Adding to the experience is the lovely approach. to the shrine is a long shopping street line up with shops selling everything from local suite to mochi two handmade craft and a fun souvenir. And there you have it. Six friendly spot in Fukoka that offer not just calm and relax feeling but also excitement. All these places can be reached from the city center using a public transport.
