I Lost My AirPods in Japan… And They Were Returned 😭🇯🇵

Y’all, this whole shopping plaza that I’m in that I’ve been in this whole time, like from the Cabini, is literally the train station. Like the train station in Osaka, like one of the main ones was literally a mall. And that’s not something that’s like abnormal. A lot of train stations have this, but this one in particular, like this train station had like so many places to shop and so many places to eat. Like you literally can just come here and get all of your shopping done. And so I saw this cute like basics place that had like little knick-knacks and things like that that I can use for like traveling and like little gifts that I could get for like my family and friends. And so I was like, “Oh, we’re stopping in here.” And it was super affordable. Like this stuff looks like it looks like like a HomeGoods store, but it literally was a quarter of the price. Hey guys, you already know I got to get my literal vitamins in cuz I told you I’m serious. My mom is like, “You need to make sure you start getting super regimented on these trips because your flights are long and your immune system is low.” So, mom, mother, I’ve had this every single day and it’s really good. I just have it to Well, it says collagen and hyaluronic acid, but I think it has lemon in it too and vitamin C. So, all the good things that you need to not get sick. And then in addition to that, my friend Patrick when I went to Philly, if you haven’t already watched those vlogs, go back. But he ran a marathon and apparently so like when you drink water, you want to make sure that you drink like I drink spring water because it has minerals in it. And tea is also really good without putting sugar in it because it helps like your body actually absorb the water. But um like I don’t drink Gatorade or things like that. Apparently this helps you. these hydration tablets. You put them in any water you get and you drink it and it really helps you absorb like your water intake. So, I want to make sure I’m not dehydrated and it actually works. I need to buy some more when I get back in town um because these are all gone. So, thank you Patrick for this pro tip. But these are hydration tablets. I recommend just putting it in. It says um you should do this three times a day. And yeah, so that’s what I do. And I wait for it all to dissolve and it goes inside and I drink it. So it’s like a super super healthy like Gatorade, like what Gatorade is actually supposed to do, which is like help you with the electrolytes. So that’s my drink of the day. Haul time. The first thing I got is I got these super cute long socks. I don’t need them, but I might actually wear them tonight just to like test them out. But I was like, I soon saw these. I’m like, what could be more Japanese than this? Like, this is the most Japanese thing that I can think of that is just so like, you know, that you went to Asia with socks these long. So, I was like, I’m getting these. And they were only 500 yen, which is like I don’t know. Don’t ask me. Not expensive. This whole bag of stuff, like I got so much stuff, you guys, you’re going to see all this whole entire bag of stuff all together was $40. So, let me see. What else did I get? Oh, I got these glasses. Y’all saw me trying them on because I need new blue light glasses because I edit a lot and I so and like I’m always on something. So, I’m like I need to get new glasses. And then these glasses are also like UV protection. So, they’re not going to shade the sun, but they’re also they’re going to like um help your eyes because like the sun damages your eyes period. That’s why you should wear sunglasses. And so they protect. They still have UV protection so you can wear them outside. But I got these glasses and they’re so cute. Look like I stand. They had a black pair. I wanted the black pair so bad, but the black pair wasn’t UV. Like it wasn’t blue light. And so I was like, I need blue light as well. So I had to get these. These are so cute. I have been seeing people with these things on and I’m going to show you what these are. These are for your phone. So like whenever you see like the little lanyard that’s on your phone that’s super cute. I got this because I’m like I’m getting this. Like this is so cute. It’s a smartphone strap. And I was like I want this. Okay. And so I got this and what you do is you put these little things inside your phone case and you just hook the carabiner. Like this is not a carabiner. So, this actual strap, but like you hook it to this. So, I’m going to put this on for you guys in a minute once I’m done with the haul. But I was like, I’m getting this. But even better, they have these cross body straps. I was like, because like I’m always traveling and I’m always like shuffling for my phone and I always need my phone. like always, especially like when I’m in a major city that I use public transport or like I’m just in a new environment or like if I have like when I have Leo with me and all these things and I saw this person get on the when I was going leaving Tokyo from Hinat like to um come to Osaka, I saw a person on the train with me and he had this on and he just like his phone was draped and I was like I need that. And so then when I saw this I got it. So I’m going to put these on cuz I legitimately need that right now. I also got a glass case to put my glasses in so that they don’t break when I travel. And they also come with a carabiner. So, I’m just going to strap it to like my um my uh bag. So, yeah, that’s going to protect it so they don’t break because I didn’t get these glasses just for them to break. Come on. Now, I got these cute gloves. And actually, let me take these off, too. Now, I can actually take these off now. Like these gloves cuz I need gloves cuz I’m going to Europe. um next month for Christmas. And so I was like, I need gloves. And like I was gonna go to Target and buy some gloves because I just came back from London a couple weeks ago. And I was like, I need I need gloves. But in Target, they were like $30. I was like, I’m not paying $30 for gloves. I’m sorry. So when I saw these were like only like 300 yen. How much are these? No, 600 yen. I was like, I’m getting these. And they’re so cute. Like ba. So gloves. Aren’t these that cute? Y’all can’t tell me these cute and I’m extra if you don’t know me. I’m extra. So, I love that they’re fur. Love these. So, I got gloves. Just like I said, the gloves in Target were $30. So, just gloves at Target is $30 and I got a whole bag of stuff for $40. And now, let me see. I got gifts in here. Y’all, I’m trying to look at my gifts cuz I got some gifts in here. Like, let me try to look at my gifts. Wait, let me make sure there’s no gifts in here. I will post it, but the people, not the people randomly that I’m that I’m getting that I got the stuff for actually watching this video cuz sometimes they watch it watch my video and sometimes they don’t. So, I’m like, I’m not about to play with y’all. The last thing I got are these stainless steel earrings. I have been looking for earrings like this for so long. Like, I don’t think you guys understand. And these as well, I got silver and gold because y’all know I got a silver hand and a gold hand. So, I got silver and gold. And I’m actually about to put these on right now. Like actually like these are I have been looking for a pair of earrings like this for so long, you guys. I do not think you guys understand. Like I just like simple a simple look. I’m obsessed. Oh, so cute. I’m not taking these out. I’ve been looking for the like a pair of this for so I don’t think you guys understand how long I have been looking for earrings like this and I’ve been wanting a gold pair and a silver pair. Like just something simple that goes with everything that I could keep in cuz like I never have earrings in. I’m barely ever have earrings in. Like I’m very even though I like jewelry a lot. Actually that’s not true. I have earrings in because I have a lot of piercings. So that’s not true. I do have earrings in, but not like in my actual regular. See, I have my industrial. I have this earring. I don’t even know what this is called. This is a piercing I made up. Literally, I told them just pierce through this. They’re like, “Okay.” And then I have this then. I don’t know what this is called either. But those earrings are always in. But I never have earrings where you’re actually supposed to have earrings like in your I don’t know earlobe. I don’t know what those are called. Basic earrings. And so now I’m like now I have like a super my my fit is fine. Like I feel complete one. See y I love it. I love it. I love it. I’m in love. Wow. I feel really edgy, too. I feel so edgy now. Wow, y’all. It’s eating. I love I love it. I love it. I cannot I’m so obsessed. I haven’t been this obsessed in a while. Japan. I’m so glad that I went out today. I’m so glad that I came here. Like I still can’t believe enough. Like like oh like intentionality like thank like I’m I mean this trip not just like feeling so full in regards to like getting all the things that I’ve like all the finishing touches and like things that I’ve wanted for a while. And I just I’m getting prepared for other trips. So like the items I’m getting are useful but just like intentional in like life as well. like intentional and like am I being intentional like spiritually like with my relationship to God. I feel like so connected to God here. I don’t know what it is. I think it’s just like the fact that I have to be alone. But even I’m not even alone. Like I met someone at the ramen spot. Um she’s Chinese and she was like the next place you go to go to Shanghai. Y’all, I did not know that Shanghai was only two hours away from here. And she told me you don’t need a visa to go to China if you’re going to be there for under six under six days. because whenever I go on a trip, I try to go to a new country. But it’s like I’m not going to be mad at myself because I didn’t know. But um America, we have to do better with geography. We have to with world geography because you could hit so many places and just not know be aware of it. So I’m like the disrespect, you know. But anyways, that’s neither here nor there. And so she was like I was telling her I was like I’m planning on going to like Hong Kong and Macau. And she was like you should come to Shanghai. Like Hong Kong and Macau are great cuz it’s further south. So, it’s going to be hot there right now. But she was like, “Shanghai is also lit.” And I was like, “I’m going to Shanghai now instead of Hong Kong and Macau.” Cuz like I was like, I had no idea that one, it’s that close to Japan. So, what? I’m so glad I came here. I’m so glad that I listened. And I think I was just super apprehensive and nervous because like I haven’t been on a solo trip in a long time and I’ve been a little bit overwhelmed. I think I got like my nerve back. I’ve gotten like my my grit back. I feel very focused now and um ready to take on and like just be very in tune myself and in tune to what God is wanting for me or at least just letting him lead my way. I feel like I’m very I feel very connected to him. Like I feel very connected to God’s presence, his glory, his source. Like I just feel so connected to him and I just cannot be so more grateful. Like this has been a beautiful trip. Like it’s like I have to come to Japan once a year, but then I’m also like it is such a long flight, but I’m like every time I come I’m like no. Like yo, like this I just obsessed with the culture, the vibes, and just the experience and all it does for me. And I’m like, if you could ever go to Japan, bro, like, please go. Like, please. They’re like, watching your travel vlog, they’ll tell you come. Like, come. So, that’s my check-in. But now I need to go to the spa and go get my phone. I mean, go get my AirPod Maxes. So, that’s the T plan. [Music] Yes, you are. [Music] [Music] The number one question I get when I’m traveling is, “Girl, how do you do laundry?” How I do laundry is really dependent on the environment that I’m in. In this vlog in particular, I’m staying at a hotel. In Japan, a lot of the hotels have laundry available on site. But the biggest thing when traveling and utilizing laundry services abroad is the language barrier. I’m telling y’all, all laundry is the same no matter what you do, no matter where you go, you wash your clothes and you dry them. But it might differ. Some washing machines might wash and dry in the same machine. Some washing machines might just wash, some might just dry, some might have different cycles and etc. And so what I like about Japan is like a lot of the things are wireless like to technology. And so you really can like just they have like a QR code, you can use an app and like the apps are in English and they’ll like tell you everything that you need to do. They’ll you can even pay on the app and things like that. So that’s how this hotel was. But just always check in advance to see like how laundry services works when you’re abroad. Hey guys, I’m truly back. Like I never left and then I went back to the spa, y’all. So, how do I recommend Japan? I recommend Japan period. 20 out of 10. Y’all know these headphones are $500. These are the AirPod Max Pros. These are AirPod Max Pros. These are $500 headphones. And as soon as I went back to the spot, I went back there and I was like, I hope they’re there. I don’t know. I went back there. Lo and behold, I asked the guy and he I was like, um, you get my headphones, please. And he was like, oh yeah, yeah. And he just was like, here you go. I knew you were going to come back and gave them to me. And I was just like, bro. And then like it was so funny because I thought like there there was him and there was another lady in there that was working in there too and they both saw me yesterday because I came around the same time and the lady she’s an old head like super old head and she was staring at me the whole time that I was in the bath house. Like anytime that I was like drying off or just in the bath house like in the water she would just stare at me. And so the whole time I’m thinking like oh she doesn’t like me. Like she’s probably like why is this black girl here and why does she have tattoos? But even though it’s like you can have tattoos there. So my mom my whole time in my head thinking like she doesn’t like me and like she’s judging me. And I leave the bath house cuz I’m so happy cuz I have my headphones and everything. And I leave the bath house and she runs out the bath house and she’s like just like gives me so much love. And was just like, “Thank you so much for coming. Um, come back. Have a good day.” Like runs out to tell me bye. And I was just like, “Wow.” You know, like this whole time I was thinking she didn’t like me and the whole time she was probably she liked me. So it’s like if you’re ever thinking like you’re in your head and having a whole internal monologue thinking the absolute worst, stop because a lot of times it might just be in your head. It sometimes it could actually be a thing, but a lot of times it could actually just be in your head. That was my lesson that I learned today. Um but yeah, they had my headphones. So if you’re wondering about honesty of Japan, um that is just a testament of how honest this country is. Yeah. So it just it really touched me that they were still there. Like really truly.
