  1. Deciding what to do in Fukuoka is always so difficult, but you cannot beat a walk. I'm visiting the last week of November, and you've hit on a few things I've been thinking about. I've rented a car and have decided Itoshima is definitely on the agenda. It will be completely deserted when I visit, but still, it was good to see some of the driving.

What I cannot decide is whether I want to go further down the road to Karatsu. There is a boat ride to some caves, a castle, and the highlight would be eating at Aru Tokoro. If you were still fresh after visiting Itoshima, I might add that on, but if not, I should stick closer to Fukuoka.

    Any opinions?
