Things to Do in Okinawa 🌺 | Fishing, Cafés & Family by the Sea
Morning. [Applause] [Music] Up early to go fishing. Yeah. Excited. Too early. Too early. [Music] When you reel in the the line will just go right back. So you won’t guide it with your Yeah, I just Yeah, you get used to it. Um I can give you so you can see kind of how they work. [Music] So, we’re going to take these kind of boats. [Music] Don’t worry, I’m I’m 70% sure that we’ll make it back home. That’s pretty good. [Music] Maybe you need to just All right. [Music] Looking [Music] my booty. [Music] They’re [Music] building out here. [Music] Woo! The air feels really nice. Beautiful. Look ahead. The sea is coming. I know we’ve been through a lot. Just wait. Wait for better days to come and carry us like wind in our sails. Hold on tight. I can smell sh right in front of us if we just hold on tight. This vision that I saw is getting closer every dawn. We are dreamers of the shore. [Music] [Music] 7 years now on this boat and we all know where we belong. Just wait. Wait for our home to show the horizon. One hour later and we haven’t caught anything yet. [Music] Tight. This vision that I saw is getting closer every time. We are dreams of the kids a little bit. Yeah. Edoy. Edoy. All right. Back on land. We didn’t catch any fish. It was too hot. And uh a lot of lot of fish were chasing our our lurs, but couldn’t catch anything today. But it was fun just like seeing the nice view perspective outside on the coast of Okinawa. That would have been very fun. It would have been like an accomplishment. Dang it. I think Yeah. Look like Eastwood. [Music] Wow. So, we’re here at American Village and Wow. very colorful. That’s pretty cool. This is, I guess, their American town, which is like nostalgic for the Americans who live here in Okinawa. [Music] All right. So, we haven’t had any like true Okinawan food yet, and we’ve been wanting Okinawan SOA. Found a little restaurant here. Uh that has local Okinawan food. [Music] [Music] It’s like really bacon. [Music] I see it in your eyes. Yeah, I can read the signs. You need to get away. It’s time we make a change. Oh, you know you’ll always have me. Baby, I will always stay with you. So, put your trust in me. We’ll work it out. You’ll see. If we get in a car and drive some place far, yeah, we could go for a ride. The two of us, we don’t have to stop. Baby, let’s go for a ride. You and I, let us run away. We can go where we want. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Hello. Hello. All right. Today we are starting our day off at the Bumi Kaji Terrace. Oh, this is nice. This place is cool. It’s got a lot of uh cafes and terraces overlooking the water and airplanes. They say it’s a really cool spot to come during sunset, but we’re here kind of like midday. [Music] You can sit here and then just look at planes. Ty loves it. [Music] I just love the vibes here. Look at this. Oh, this would be good right now, too. Fruitful [Applause] more Okinawan soba. Yeah. I just want to go out on a walk with you, baby. You know, I just like to talk with you. [Music] You don’t have to tell me anything that’s new. I just want to go out on a walk with you. Okay, we found it. We were planning to go to a super play pancake place and it looks like everybody’s trying to go here, too. I just want to see your shadow next to mine. Sailing over pavement without two. [Music] I like to see the shape you’re in from time to time. I just want to see your shadow next to mine. [Music] So, I got the milk tea sauce with granola and then Kona got the Chocolate with vanilla. [Music] Maybe there could heaven when you’re next to me. I just want to see the same things you can see. [Music] made out of uh it’s a hibiscus flavored. You want to try the marbles? Yeah. Okay. What was that? It’s all pretty flowers in there. How was that? Different. Different. What was it? It’s like jello. Oh, it was like jello. I mean, yeah, it was like a jello. Ah, look at the one with the flower. Yeah. You see that one? This little flower in there. Wait here. of the hibiscus. [Music] Peach on. Hi [Music]

Wow, all the food looked amazing! I would definitely like to taste the local food if I ever have the chance to visit. Is Ty a planespotter? Having worked in aerospace, I have been in a few airplanes as they were built and watched them take off and land up close.
