Did you know this shrine was built over the sea more than 800 years ago? Welcome to Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its Vermilion Tory Gate looks as if it’s floating at high tide. One of Japan’s most iconic sites. At low tide, you can actually walk up to it and see how massive it is. The gate is 16 m tall and weighs about 60 tons, but no nails are used in its construction. So, would you rather see it floating on the sea or walk right beside it? [Music]
