Having won the first game the day before, win on this day would mean a spot in the final stage, so The Fighters fans were filled with excitement even before the game, shouting, “Let’s decide it today!” and “Let’s go to Fukuoka!” A support area for the visiting team was set up on the first base side, where The Buffaloes fans could also be seen.

As the game begins, cheers and sighs echo through the stands at Kama Stadium with each pitch shown on the large screen. In the early stages, when the team is trailing by three runs, the fans cheer enthusiastically with clapping and powerful cheering songs, and at the end of the top of the seventh inning, when the lucky number 7 is reached, the fans raise their towels and sing the team song, “The Fighters Anthem,” a cappella to continue to inspire the players.

Then, in the bottom of the eighth inning, Reyes hit a timely hit to give The Fighters the lead again, and the excitement at Kamasu Stadium reached a fever pitch. Loud applause and cheers shook the stands.

The top of the ninth inning Yukiya Saito pitcher struck out all three batters to end the game. The moment The Fighters ‘win was confirmed, the fans embraced each other in joy and relief.

After the public viewing of first baseman stage ended, we spoke with Nobuhiro Nakahara, head of the Farm Management Group, also known as “DJ Chas,” a Kamasta specialty.

“Yesterday, about 300 people came despite the rain, and today, we were blessed with good weather and about 1,500 people came. We are happy to see our fans happy and smiling, so we will do everything we can for them. There will also be a public viewing of the final stage (only on the 18th and 19th), so we would be happy if we could share the joy of win in Kamagaya again. There is still more to the dream. Let’s all come together as one, the team, the fans, Ace Combat, and Kamagaya, and move forward towards our dream!”
