Since 2015, Shibuya StreetDance Week has celebrated street dance as a vital form of contemporary art and culture. Born in Shibuya — a global hub for youth creativity — the event connects dancers and audiences of all ages, spreading the energy of Tokyo’s streets to the world.

DANCE WITH Music
Join ambassadors, performers, and guests as everyone comes together to dance to this year’s theme song — a participatory program open to all.
RAINBOW STAGE
From top guest dancers active worldwide to local Shibuya-based crews, studios, and community groups — a colorful lineup brings dynamic performances to the main stage.
SSDW CONTEST
A street dance competition for high school teams, aimed at discovering and nurturing the next generation of dance talent in Japan.
BATTLE PARK
Experience the energy of street dance up close as dancers showcase skill, creativity, and originality in thrilling freestyle battles.
CHILL OUT SPACE
A casual zone suitable for beginners — where dancers and visitors of all ages can relax, socialize, and enjoy music, dance, and street culture together.
BREAKING AREA
