🇯🇵Day 9 of travelling Japan: food tour in #dotonbori #osaka #japan

So this is day nine of traveling Japan. We’re done with Tokyo and now we’re heading to Osaka. At the highspeed rail stations, they have these meals called Akubans. They’re like heat on the spot meals. Super delicious. Highly recommend you get one. So Osaka, big change from Tokyo. One thing I’ve noticed very clear was their streets or malls or whatever are super long. Like we walk from one end to the other of this indoor mall and holy, it’s it’s crazy. Any street you look left or right, you could see all the way down as far as the eye can see. It’s pretty cool. We didn’t have much planned for the day and it’s rainy so we went to a spa called Spa World. Highly recommend. And then for the evening, we did our own food tour. We loved the food tour so much in Tokyo. We actually made our own. We used like Chachi Piti to take us to like most popular spots in Danton Bur. Um this is like the place to be at night. Definitely super cool, super great for photos. The food is delicious. We had okonomayyaki, takoyaki, kushi katu, which is like fried skewers, and my favorite, tayyaki, which is like these fish shaped desserts. super great. So, if you don’t want to pay for a food tour and or maybe you’re an introvert and you want to just do things on your own, just use Chachi BT. It’ll like take you around. You could probably edit things based on your preference and location and yeah, it was it was pretty awesome. We also got like tidbits of information. Obviously, it’s not going to be a super deep dive or kind of a unique cultural experience or connecting with people or anything, but it was worth it. It was cool and it was better than nothing. So, it gave us at least some direction. So, that’s it for the first day in Osaka. Uh, see you tomorrow.
