[Wakayama’s DisneySea!?] Popular Spots! A Day Trip to Kuroshio Market and Porto Europe
This trip takes us to Marina City in Wakayama Prefecture. We’ll visit Kuroshio Market, famous for seafood, and an amusement park known for its European-style streets! Hello everyone. Today, let’s go together to Wakayama Marina City. Since it’s really hot outside, I’d like to end the trip with shaved ice. First, we’ve arrived at Kuroshio Market, famous for seafood. That tuna statue is huge! It seems they have a tuna-cutting show every day. Unfortunately, we couldn’t watch it this time due to scheduling. Selling umeshu by weight—how wonderful. I’d love to drink Wakayama umeshu to my heart’s content. Inside, there are markets and restaurants lined up—it’s quite a sight. That shrimp tempura looks delicious. There’s also a space outside for BBQ. Lots of seats—that’s nice. The fans look refreshing~ Next, let’s take a look at the souvenir corner. “Jabara”—is it a type of citrus fruit? I love curry, so I’d like to try them all. I’ve never heard of Wakayama potato before. As expected of Wakayama, there’s even a section for giant pickled plums. There are also stalls for buying food to eat on the spot or for beach grilling. Medium-fatty tuna!! It’s great that they cook what you buy. I was able to buy ice cream from Kurosawa Farm in Kainan, Wakayama. The white one looks rich and delicious! Now, next is here! Porto Europe, famous for its European-style streets. And what’s more, admission is free. I wonder if real Europe has this kind of atmosphere too? What a lovely staircase. I’ll climb carefully so I don’t trip. Oh, is that a mermaid? There were cute statues of a mermaid and a frog. This is how the whole facility looks. The blue of the sky is stunning—truly Japanese summer. There was a cat. Where is it heading, I wonder? Such a beautiful townscape. There are also a few attractions. This one’s a water ride. Have a good ride! Almost time? What a splash that was! The water ride is called “HIGH DIVE.” There are also VR-type attractions. Across the bridge, the atmosphere feels more like a typical amusement park. Suddenly, something like Indians appeared… Wave Swinger. This one’s an attraction like swings. That looks dizzying. Teacups. Are these bee-shaped rides? There was also a small roller coaster. Merry-go-round. There was also a shop area. From the other side, the water ride blends with the scenery beautifully. Since I’m tired from walking, I’ll finish with shaved ice here. Today I chose melon flavor. That brings us to the end of this trip. I’d appreciate your likes, comments, and channel subscriptions. See you on the next journey!
