Morioka to Shin Hakodate Hokuto – Japan
Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Today moving day [Laughter] and just furthermore and I got to tell you pretty sad. Mario really it’s time to move on to right as we move further north. It is getting colder. So prepare for that. And as always, that’s the famous volcano. Right now, the clouds are covering the very top of it. We didn’t get a chance to go over there cuz we really only had one day of sightseeing while we’re in Moroka. We have arrived at Hakodaki train station. Going to make a transfer and go to the town of Hakadaki or city of what have you. Now we transfer onto this train. It’ll bring us down into the city. 30 minutes later, we’re in Hakodati. [Music] Genie always puts us in a very convenient location. And there it is, right across the street from the train station. I don’t think you need Google Maps to get there. Hell no. give you a quick pan of the area. She always does good. How easy is that? Right to the train station. It’s beautiful. About 70° out. Yeah, you always do good. Anything we need right there. Everything you need is right there. Yeah. Mhm. And as usual, Genie will take care of the check-in. And after I give her the passports, I’ll give you a little tour of the lobby. Okay. She’s got the passports. So, let’s take a little spin around the lobby here. [Music] [Music] something. Halifax City, Canada. The old clock. And right outside the hotel is that convenience store. You don’t even have to go outside. I’m going to take a wild guess that if you go up there, there’s a whole bunch of restaurants. 0922. I’m almost positive she did well. The one on the end. We always like the one on the end. It’s a lot quieter. No doubt. All right, let’s see what we got here. [Music] So far, very nice little flat screen, twin beds, couch, and drop my knapsack. Take a look at the view. overlooking the train station right there. Very nice view. That’s That’s the bus terminal right there for transportation with buses or taxis. So, we’re in really good shape. And I’m sure the bathroom’s fine. Once again, Genie, you did a good job. Yes. look forward to exploring in this town with you. Two nights in Hakadate, right? So, a little update. That room was really nice. But let me tell you something. When we went into the bathroom, smelled like And so, I went down, explained it to the best I could to the front desk attendant and told him to come up and take a look and smell himself to make sure I’m not crazy. And he goes, “You’re not crazy.” and he moved us up one floor to the 10th and still got the same view. So, it’s all good. And the room’s like Genie says, the room’s just a dot bigger. So, we’re good. It is bigger. And it’s very clean. It’s actually even wider this way, too, cuz if I remember, I was sitting down on this chair, right? And there wasn’t as much room to move around. So, we’re good. The world is good again.
