The Journey To The East Cycling Tour: A Typical Day In Japan
Really a nice ride so far today. Stunning picturesque valley, rivers, forest, minimal traffic. It was just beautiful. Green, narrow roads and the vistas. Ended the ride with more energy than I started. Open roads, no traffic, listening to great music, and just taking it all in. That’s a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. Loving it. With views of Mount Fuji and the Japanese Alps. Mount Fuji, of course. Yep. Tonight is our prime viewing for Mount Fuji. So hopefully we do get some peaks through the cloud. It is meant to rain worse tonight, but hopefully We were looking for it up the top of the hill, but it just wasn’t there. Not there. We haven’t seen Mount Fuji yet, or not much, but I’m hopeful that we will see it.
What does a typical day of cycling look like in Japan? The Journey to the East riders describe our ride day from Fujimi to Lake Kawaguchi – also known as the day they saw Mt Fuji.
