One of my favorite stops on the Mount Fuji tour book was definitely Oshino Hake Springs. It’s this little traditional village with a bunch of super clear spring ponds that came from melted snow from Mount Fuji. The water is clear. You can literally see fish swimming around. The whole area feels peaceful and kind of old school with these wooden bridges and small stalls selling local snacks. You must definitely try this mugwart rice cake. It’s warm and perfect for the cold weather. It reminds me of a mochi with red bean inside. They also have souvenir shops here. It’s super chill and very peaceful place and I’m really glad it was part of the tour. We booked our Mount Fuji tour on Club.
