How We Beat the Crowds at Mt Fuji Ropeway

Finally seeing Mount Fuji in the summer. Next stop, the Mount Fuji Panoramic Rope. We were lucky our private driver knew the best times to go, so we arrived at about 9:30 a.m. While it was still pretty quiet, the views at the top were stunning. Mount Fuji over Lake Kowuchiko and the fresh mountain air despite the heat. We grabbed some souvenirs and tried those warm rice ball snacks while enjoying the view.

We rode the panoramic ropeway just as the morning haze was clearing. 🚠

Thanks to our driver’s timing, we got there before the crowds and the views were stunning.
Mt Fuji rising over Lake Kawaguchiko, with just the faintest breeze in the summer heat.
