Not much effort spent on presentation tonight, sorry! I was ravenous, and sharing this was an afterthought.

I used /u/norecipes butadon recipe, sans the char broil at the end. Made a very basic rice vinegar/moron/soy mix for the pickles, with a dash of chili crisp.

On a bed of Ohkome21 rice from Tochigi (2024 crop).

Highly recommended the butadon recipe. Note: I used less sugar since the mirin I had was already very high in sugar.
