TOKYO – A train bound for Tokyo’s Shibuya collided with an out-of-service train Sunday night, with no one injured, according to operator Tokyu Railways of the major commuter line.

The collision occurred near Kajigaya Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line at around 11:05 p.m. The train was carrying 149 passengers, according the Japan Transport Safety Board, which sent its investigators to the site.

A portion of the out-of-service train derailed. An apprentice was its driver, the board said.
