Drift your way to Motor Show Okinawa slated for Nov. 8 and 9.
The popular, free event brings a mix of incredible vehicles on display and demonstrations to two venues, Okinawa Suntory Arena and Koza Sports Park.
Last year, the event drew around 28,000 visitors and organizers expect it to be another hit among the island’s car enthusiasts and motorheads.
Besides custom and vintage car showings and drifting demos, you can also ride a car that goes up on a 45-degree slope.
There is plenty to see even for kids and families. Kids can have fun with a simulator or EV Kart and there’ll be many food trucks selling tasty food and drinks.
Since this popular event is expected to draw a big crowd, congestion is likely to happen around the area. The organizer recommends that visitors utilize public transportation. The venues are within walking distance of Gate 5 of Kadena Air Base.
You’ll definitely want to make plans to enjoy this fast, furious and fun time.
