Why Costco Is Better In Japan #japan

Is Costco actually better in Japan? Firstly, membership is only $36 per year. The price can go up to $65 in other countries, and yes, you can actually use your membership at any Costco in the universe. Secondly, there are Costco Japan exclusive items like this sushi platter, premium marble wagyu, a huge selection of fresh Japanese seafood, extra-l large Japanese snacks, and several other pantry items which are catered to the locals. I mean, they even have the popular Ichiran ramen in bulk. J Beauty and K beauty is also way cheaper. You’ll be surprised by the selection they have because the options are endless. There’s also a massive selection for the tech section and you can actually get the Nintendo Switch for a great value here. Did I also mention you can get a pair of glasses ready to go in 30 minutes. Other than the usual menu, the Fuko has a few special items such as Hokkaido soft serve and salmon poker roll. Keep in mind they only accept Mastercard or cash. Like and follow as I’ll be sharing next everything I bought in Costco and how much I spent. [Music]

  1. I have been shopping at Costco for 25 years since I first lived in the Bay Area. They also have a great restaurant and cheap fuel.

  2. In Mexico, they charge you one price if you’re paying cash and another price if you’re paying credit card. Is that the same way in Japan? I always wondered because in the United States, it doesn’t make a difference as price is the same.

  3. Too bad nearest Costco to Tokyo is 45 mins and you probably need a driver or your own car to get there
