My MIL used to make umeboshi and the stopped some years ago as it was getting to labor intensive. Recently we were sent a small batch. I’m back in heaven.

My wife refuses to eat any other umeboshi. Once I brought home a store bought jar and I was dressed down. I agreed though. I bought a few different brands hoping to find a good one but they were all lacking.
