My solo Trip to Japan use to JR Pass
Today, I traveled to Shimonoseki Station, departing from Kokura Station to visit the famous Karato Market fish market. Shimonoseki Station is under the jurisdiction of Kyushu, so I entered using an IC transportation card that doesn’t work with the PASS. (Other passes may work.) It’s a romantic ramen shop. The Kyushu Line is on the left, and the West Japan Line is on the right. Entry was impossible (warning sound) . – Follow the red line (I didn’t understand).
– Are you coming from Kokura Station? Here… I came to Shimonoseki from Kokura Station – Enter using the red line
– Ah, I get it. I get it. Thank you. I entered the Kyushu Line from Kokura Station. You also have to exit using the Kyushu Line when leaving. Information: – The Sanyo-Sanin Pass doesn’t go from Kokura Station to Shimonoseki Station. The bus stop for Karato Market (visible as you exit the station). Excuse me, does this bus go to Karato?
– Yes, it does. Thank you . I always have to ask.
If you don’t want to go through the trouble, I arrived at Karato Market. It’s still quiet. Where can I find the 1,000-yen fugu sashimi I looked up online? It’s my first time in a place like this.
The lively atmosphere is fascinating to see.
The market is fun. If I stop walking, it causes a traffic jam. One piece of tuna costs 800 yen . I was starving. I lost control . I came for sushi, but I ended up buying tempura. This – 1,1,1 – 800 yen – Do you need some sauce? Yes, I ‘d like this too . Thank you. Thank you. There was something missing a while ago. This 1,1,1 translates to day, day, day. It should say one (hitotsu). I understand roughly . Most of the sushi is similar,
so I’ll try buying some here. Wow, are we going to reduce everything here? The line is too long I gave up on this store
I’ll buy it somewhere else Outside, there was a place to eat while looking out at the ocean. There was a place to throw away trash. The weather was beautiful today. I bought only 4,000 yen by myself.
I bought too much, but now I’m worried. Left, right, there are many places to eat. I got the wrong seat.
Eating with pigeons and ants. The pigeons kept watching my sushi. 4,000 yen (including beer).
Next time, I’ll buy it at a busy restaurant. I’m sad because it’s FHD there were so many people looking around the second floor . There were even more people than in the video. You could eat on the second floor, too. Finished looking around Karato Market. I realized that I had to go to the Karato Fish Market early in the morning.
Because there are so many people It’s still Karato Fish Market.
I spent 30 minutes pondering my destination. The place you see in the video is Karato Market I headed to the nearest train station. I got on at Karato Market.
How much was it? —400 yen I thought 480 yen— (Why aren’t you going?) It was Shin-Shimonoseki Station.
This is where the Shinkansen stops. I’m wondering where to go today. I’ve decided on Nara.
I’m heading to Kokura Station. We’ve arrived at Kokura Station Kokura Station.
I’m heading to Shin-Osaka Station. I came from Kyoto yesterday for the Karato Fisheries Market, and I’m heading back to Osaka after just eating sushi. Without my JR Pass, this trip would have been impossible. It started raining really hard five minutes ago It rained so hard before we left, I was worried the Shinkansen would be suspended I’m traveling at such a high speed, I’ve escaped Kitakyushu. The sky is so clear. I’ve traveled 2,800 kilometers by train so far, and spent most of my trip on the train (i’m crazy). I changed trains at Shin-Osaka Station.
I’ve now arrived at Nara Station. The weather is crazy. I was worried about too much rain from Kitakyushu, but the weather here is great. There are so many tourists (going to a guesthouse). It’s a famous tourist city,
but it feels comfortable. Why are there deer here? Our eyes met. This is a residential area. Deer eat grass in the alleys. Today I came by Shinkansen and booked
a guesthouse with a room for six (- 2900 yen). A strange smell smell. A strange smell. The smell is actually the smell of deer. The beds are not clean. Affordable.
I can understand that But the smell of deer was terrible. My head hurts. But I’m hungry. Went to eat. Went to the nearby shopping district and went to Kamukura Ramen. Had I’m eating ramen again today It’s a famous chain restaurant. Damn! So delicious. I’ve never eaten ramen like this before -I got gyoza
-Eat slowly It was a taste I wanted to keep eating. I don’t really know about the gyoza. The fried rice was delicious. I want to know why rice is so delicious in Japan. The ramen has chicken broth, but it’s good If you like good pork bone ramen it might not be to your liking. I’ve only tried tonkotsu ramen at Ichiran, Ifuudo,
and other independent ramen shops. The tonkotsu ramen I’ve tried isn’t to my taste. i can’t explain it. It’s a taste I’ll always remember. When you enter the restaurant, you order at the table eat the food, and calculate it yourself. The kitchen is in full view That’s all for today. Tomorrow I’ll go see the deer. Thank you for watching.
