Travel reservation platform Klook announced the “2025 Chuseok Holiday Overseas Travel Trend” on the 30th based on its reservation data.

Compared to last year’s Chuseok holiday, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong saw an average increase of 21% in reservations, but Southeast Asia saw an average decrease of 6%.

On the other hand, the long holiday period increased 21% in the Americas and 35% in Europe, increasing the proportion of long-distance travel significantly. During the same period, Turkey increased by 111% and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) increased by 33%, and reservations for all Middle Eastern countries also increased by 71%.
