This is it. We found the best fluffy pancakes in Japan. Tucked in an unassuming building in Takatsuki, this cafe served us the fluffiest, tastiest, most delicious strawberries and cream pancakes we’ve ever had. We also tried the creme brulee pancakes, and they were life-changing. And that burnt sugar crack. Woo! We can’t stop thinking about it. They also serve tasty sandwiches, teas, and coffee, so it’s a great all-around spot. This is Moon Cafe located right across from Takatuki Station.
