Nippon Travel Agency Signs Tourism Agreement with Kyrgyzstan at Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 (Aichi)

Nippon Travel Agency signed an agreement with the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Tourism Development Support Fund at Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Chubu-Hokuriku, held at Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, to promote tourism in the Japanese market and expand people-to-people exchanges.

To date, the company has entered partnership agreements with two universities and government agencies in Kyrgyzstan to help address Japans labor shortages. With this new tourism-focused accord, it aims to contribute to mutual understanding between the two countries and invigorate local economies. Key items include joint advertising; PR and familiarization (fam) trips; developing travel products tailored to the preferences of Japanese travelers; support toward launching direct flights; and sharing data such as demand trends and visitor profiles.

Going forward, the parties will work to raise awareness, broaden sales channels, and improve service quality; stimulate travel demand to Kyrgyzstan; expand people-to-people exchanges and investment driven by tourism; and contribute to improved connectivity for flight transfers.

Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Chubu-Hokuriku runs through September 28. Public days are September 27 and 28. Hours are 10:00 a.m.106:00 p.m. each day (until 5:00 p.m. on the final day). Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. September 25 and 26 are trade-only business days and not open to the general public. Same-day public tickets are 1,300 yen; admission is free with a student ID.
