SAKURA Internet Inc. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Kunihiko Tanaka, hereinafter “SAKURA Internet”), a provider of digital infrastructure services, will establish the third zone (hereinafter, “Ishikari Third Zone”) in the Ishikari region within its public cloud service, “SAKURA Cloud,” starting Thursday, September 25, 2025.
This development will enable the Ishikari region to accommodate large-scale projects that were previously directed to the Tokyo region due to resource constraints. It is also expected to promote disaster risk diversification and expand the use of environmentally friendly data centers leveraging Hokkaido’s cool climate, providing customers nationwide with more flexible options.
To commemorate the launch of the Ishikari Third Zone, SAKURA Internet will run a promotional campaign offering a discount coupon worth 20,000 yen to customers utilizing this zone.

big“SAKURA Cloud” Ishikari Third Zone Overview

“SAKURA Cloud” is a public cloud service that enables users to access required resources on an hourly, daily, or monthly basis when needed.
The first and second zones in the Ishikari region have reached high levels of resource utilization due to many customers utilizing them, resulting in some instances where demand could not be fully met. Consequently, there has been an increasing number of cases where large-scale systems were redirected to the Tokyo region.
In response, SAKURA Internet established the “Ishikari Third Zone” within the Ishikari data center to create a system capable of flexibly accommodating large-scale projects.

The company will continue to strive to provide a stable foundation so that customers can confidently proceed with large-scale cloud adoption and system migration.

Price (Including Tax)

The pricing structure of “SAKURA Cloud” is designed to apply the lowest rate based on usage time.
The Ishikari region can be utilized starting at 7 yen per hour or 77 yen per day. If usage is less than 20 days, charges are prorated; beyond that, a fixed monthly fee equivalent to 20 days of usage applies. Since there is no metered billing based on data transfer volume, unexpected costs can be minimized.
