The travel festival Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi/Chubu Hokuriku, organized by the Japan Travel and Tourism Association, the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), opened on September 25 at the Aichi Prefectural International Exhibition Center (Aichi Sky Expo) in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Held in Aichi Prefecture for the first time, the event features exhibits by airlines, railway companies, and travel-related businesses, as well as more than 1,000 companies, organizations, and municipalities from 80 countries and regions worldwide and from across Japan. Under the theme ‘Rediscovering the Chi (knowledge) of travel,’ it showcases distinctive exhibits unique to an Aichi-hosted edition, promotes regional tourism resources, supports Hokuriku recovery, and aims to invigorate B2B business.
The event runs for four days through September 28, with public days on September 27 and 28. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily (until 5:00 p.m. on the final day). Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. September 25 and 26 are reserved for trade-only business meetings and are not open to the general public. Same-day tickets for public days are 1,300 yen; students are admitted free with a student ID.
