Nippon-Ham Fighters batting coach Hiroshi Yagi has “returned” to the bench.

In the eighth inning of the game Softbank on the 9th (ESCON), when Kondo hit a fly ball to second base, the broken bat hit Coach Yagi, who was sitting on the bench, directly on the left side of his head. He underwent a detailed examination at a hospital in Sapporo, had a laceration on his head sutured, and was hospitalized for about a week with partial bleeding and swelling in his brain.

He had already been talking with the players behind the bench, but on this day he took part in the final game ceremony held after the match, still wearing his uniform, looking as energetic as ever.
