#shorts The Building That Survived the Bomb.

This is the atomic bomb dome, one of the few structures left standing after the world’s first nuclear attack on August 6th, 1945. The bomb exploded just 600 m above this spot, destroying nearly everything around it. Today, the dome stands untouched, frozen in time, as a haunting reminder of the devastation and a powerful symbol of peace for future generations. [Music]

On August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb in history detonated over Hiroshima. Just 160 meters from the hypocenter stood this building—the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall.

Miraculously, part of its structure survived while nearly everything else was reduced to ashes. Today, the Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome) is preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It’s not only a ruin… but a powerful call for peace and a future without nuclear weapons.
