Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding Co. will be attending the British Fair at Hankyu Department Store in Osaka this October.
Managing director Simon Johns will be visiting Japan from Wednesday October 8 to Monday October 13.
Cartmel Village Shop will be found on the ninth floor of Festival Plaza, selling handcrafted deliciousness from the birthplace of Sticky Toffee Pudding.
The company previously attended the British Fair ten years ago, in 2015.
A spokesperson for Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding Co. said: “We are very honoured to be invited back again to the British Fair At Hankyu Department store in Osaka representing the Lake district.
“The event is very professionally run and takes over a complete floor of the building, it is the oldest continuing British fair and the largest of its kind in Japan. It has been put on every year since 1970. The people at Hankyu have been very helpful with logistics and contacts with Japanese companies who will assist us.”
Visitors to the British Fair will have a rare opportunity to try authentic Sticky Toffee Pudding priced at 1,320 yen, which roughly equates to £6.57.
