Mary Persons High School has a long history of offering international travel opportunities to students and their families. Past trips have taken students to locations in Greece, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, Costa Rica, Spain, Morocco, Australia, New Zealand, and more. This past summer, a group toured Peru and Machu Picchu in South America.
In the coming summer of 2026, students can experience a trip to three countries across Europe including London, England, Paris, France, and Barcelona, Spain. Now a new and exciting trip has been approved by the Board of Education to Japan in the summer of 2027.
Teachers Kristy Calhoun and Ciara Chung will host an Interest Meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the Mary Persons Main Campus cafeteria. Interested families are invited to attend to find out more about the itinerary, what is included, payment plans, and other frequently asked questions. Those who cannot attend the meeting can get more information by emailing kristy.calhoun@mcschools.org.
