Past few days kept trying Kumamoto local cuisines How can not eat sashimi when travel to Japan? I google and found this place nearby the hotel I go to stay next WOW Lunch price seems very cheap The opening hour is 11:30am-2pm & 6-10:30pm Apparently, the owner is cartoon & comics fans The table can be used for serving customers but he decided to put his favourite collection The restaurant can accommodate around 20 customers at once Please donate your country bank notes if can’t find yours here This is Kumamoto local cuisine But I aim for sashimi today The small size costs 900 Yen (USD5.9) My stomach becomes big when eating sashimi This is not miso soup It’s mixed fish soup Sweet favour soy sauce After back to normal travel a while, many sashimi places in Japan becoming more expensive In Osaka, this size of seafood rice bowl can charge 2500-3000 Yen in tourist area Look at these caviar Explode in mouth with all the juice came out The sashimi is so thick There are totally 8 types of ingredient in this rice bowl If the rice underneath can be served in warm rice, it will be perfect But still very yummy! Wednesday off! I stayed in Dormy Inn day before Staying in this hotel made me a strong feeling that it compensate what Dormy Inn lack of I will tell you why later on I have tried Sotetsu Group couple of times in Tokyo It’s mostly 3-star hotel but very decent Hope I feel the same when staying here It’s about 7 minutes walk from Dormy Inn This is a 3-star hotel. Check-in time is 3pm and checkout is 11am Today video sequence is : 1) Lobby floor; 2) Room tour; 3) Breakfast tour Check-in is semi-self. Staff will assist you if any problems A room card, a breakfast voucher and a receipt will be issued by this machine Amenities bar includes razor, comb, face wash, lotion, tooth brush, face mask, tea/coffee, bath salt etc Room card is required to access the room floor Pyjamas to be taken here Let’s start the room tour Review and details can be seen near the end of the video Quite good! Lunch restaurant allows smoking This is how to get rid of the smoky smell Lots of space to put my stuff First side to get out of bed Second side to get out of bed Even though, the room is not packed at all Breakfast is average Hotel locates 2 minutes walk to the shopping street There’s a new hotel in construction next to the building Onyado Nono is opening in 2025 autumn! The hotel is quite new and clean Facilities including toilet, TV, amenities are better than Dormy Inn Bedding is above average But the duvet is quick thick and heavy The don’t have public bath but Dormy Inn has It’s interesting if two hotels can combine into one as each of them lack of something another hotel good at I really hope the hotel management can see this and makes some changes in the future The room price is USD43.2 (include breakfast)
