The Rockin’ On Sonic festival, a groundbreaking international music festival and the first-ever New Year’s festival in 2025, will return for its second edition as Rockin’ On Sonic 2026.
This year, the festival will be a one-day event. The festival will be held on January 4, 2026. As January 5 falls on a Monday. Despite being a one-day event, the festival promises an action-packed schedule and an unforgettable experience.
The festival will take place across the areas used during COUNTDOWN JAPAN, including the GALAXY STAGE (second stage), COSMO STAGE (third stage), and food areas.

● Pet Shop Boys – Legendary British duo, will bring their signature blend of electronic pop and stunning live performances to the festival.
● Underworld – An iconic electronic duo consisting of Rick Smith and Karl Hyde.
● Kneecap – Irish rap trio KNEECAP, one of today’s most exciting and important artists.
● Travis – The iconic Scottish rock band, will take the stage, delivering their unmistakable sound.
● Wolf Alice – A four-piece alternative rock band from London, England. The band’s members are Ellie Rowsell (vocals/guitar), Jeff Oddie (guitar/vocals), Theo Ellis (bass), and Joel Amy (drums/vocals).
