Kyoto Animation has confirmed that it will unveil a new anime project during its KyoAni no Sekai-ten (Meet the Worlds of KyoAni) event. The event will be held on 25–26 October 2025 at Miyako Messe, Kyoto.
The new anime announcement will be made on 25 October at 1200 West Indonesian Time (GMT+7), during a stage presentation titled Kyoto Animation 2026 New Work Announcement Stage. The event will feature appearances by the anime’s main staff and voice cast, who will introduce the studio’s upcoming work to fans.
Kyoto Animation’s latest television series, CITY The Animation, premiered on 6 July 2025 and is streaming exclusively worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. The studio’s film Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved premiered in Japan on 27 June 2025 and is scheduled for a theatrical release in the United States via Crunchyroll on 20 October 2025. Currently, there is no plan to screen the film in Indonesian cinemas.

In addition, Kyoto Animation is currently working on Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie. The first instalment of the project is slated to premiere in spring 2026.
