Hi, all. Long time lurker. 1st post. I'm looking at this 2009 Prius. Just wondering why it seems to have a gen 3 front end. Also, this is a private sale. They're asking 11k CDN dollars. It's got 96k klm or 60k miles. Solar roof etc. What can I do for due-diligence specifically? I know he's had it for sale on and off for quite a while. If it checks out, is that a decent price? I'd say that's around 8k USD relatively speaking.

Probably because it’s a gen 3 Prius…
Batteries obviously need replacing at some point. May be different to a locally delivered one depending if its a PHEV or not.
