Thank you for watching. This time, following on from last time, I’ll be introducing a restaurant in Numazu City that’s extremely popular with locals, but is in a slightly hard-to-find location . To get there, head out the south exit of Numazu Station, then take the first big road towards Numazu Police Station. Go straight, then turn right between Route 414 and Numazu Police Station, and you’ll find your destination a little ways down the road . If you’re coming from the station, this is the place to turn, and since there are no landmarks, it’s a little hard to find, but the arrow is where the restaurant is, and when you get close,帰りました。 English: This shop has a sign with a cat and is hard to find unless you’re a local. It ‘s called Neko Niboshi and is located in Tairamachi, Numazu City. It’s open from 6pm to 2am and is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you’re coming by car, there is no parking lot so you’ll have to use a nearby paid parking lot, and the closest one is along the road we just walked. By the way, Neko Niboshi strictly prohibits shoes, so you have to take them off in the shoe locker just before the entrance before entering. This is apparently because the owner wants people to feel comfortable as a barefoot hangout spot . So please feel free to wander around. The menu is on a blackboard above the counter. First up is the drink menu. They have a wide selection, from homemade lemon sours to various chuhai, highballs, and soft drinks. They also have Shizuoka Beer and various craft beers. Next is the food menu. From light snacks to a la carte dishes, they have fish and meat main dishes, risotto, pasta, and Italian-style dishes, as well as gyoza and ramen . Originally, this restaurant operated as a ramen shop during the day, but now it only operates in the evenings, so it seems they now serve ramen at night too. What an incredible variety of menu! Now that our order is complete, we wait patiently for our food to arrive. Of course, we start with draft beer, right? Sapporo Shizuoka Beer for 600 yen. Next is a spinach and mushroom salad for 800 yen. Neko Niboshi’s dishes are often quite filling, so they’re very satisfying. This salad, despite its simple ingredients, is incredibly delicious . Now that we’ve completed our veggie-first meal with the barley drink and salad, we’re good to go! (laughs) So, Neko Niboshi’s fried gyoza dumplings. I ordered the 700 yen one. This is a little hard to describe, but each gyoza is incredibly large! The large gyoza is topped with pepper, and the sauce you dip the gyoza in is a vinegar and pepper sauce, giving it a punchy, peppery appearance. The gyoza itself is packed with filling and well-seasoned, so it pairs well with the vinegar and pepper. It’s delicious! Next up is the homemade lemon sour (600 yen), not the cat rolling around in the foreground, but the lemon in the background. This lemon sour is not sweet at all, so it’s a great choice for those who are concerned about sugar intake. Next up is the corn fritters (700 yen). The sweetness of the corn, the moderate saltiness, the pleasant aroma and spiciness of the pepper, and the crispy texture make it a delicious snack. It’s also quite large, so you can share it with someone, and they also offer half-size versions for those who can’t eat much. Next up is the red eye (650 yen). Everything is delicious, so you’ll find yourself ordering drinks as well. Next up is the whole squid with garlic butter. 1300 yen. The garlic and butter have completely sealed in the flavor of the squid. This is baked in foil and is guaranteed to be delicious. You could probably drink another glass of this alone♪ Mushroom cheese risotto is 1700 yen. I was thinking about having ramen as my final dish, but I’ve had ramen at Old Bus, which I previously posted about, and pasta at Italian restaurants, so I decided to go with risotto this time. This risotto contains a variety of mushrooms, and has a great texture and flavor, and is mixed with the richness of the cheese, making it very delicious. If you like risotto, I recommend you try it. I was very satisfied with the delicious drinks and food, but the cats seemed to be having a tantrum because they weren’t getting enough attention, so I decided to go to Neko Niboshi again on another day. The previous video was taken in June, but this time it was taken in September, so it’s the most recent video. The drink menu on the left doesn’t seem to have changed much, but the beer on the right is the same Shizuoka Beer, but the craft beer underneath has changed. Next is the food menu. Of course, there are some menus that are the same as last time, but the ingredients purchased change depending on the season, so there will also be new menus They’re adding new items every now and then. By the way, the ramen last time was a light niboshi ramen, but this time it’s been changed to a rich niboshi ramen. As always, there are a lot of attractive menu items. First of all, I ordered a drink, a tomato highball for 600 yen. It was topped with pepper, but I was surprised at how delicious it was. Next was pickled myoga for 300 yen. It’s healthy, and a delicious snack that anyone who likes vinegared food will surely enjoy . Next was Suruga Bay whitebait and Okinawa mozuku seaweed fritters for 900 yen. I ordered this because I remembered how delicious the mozuku seaweed fritters I had previously were. I was surprised again by how big it was, bigger than I expected. It’s big, but it’s crispy on the outside and fluffy and surprisingly light on the inside, so you can eat it all in one go. And unlike potatoes or meat, it’s mozuku seaweed and whitebait, so it ‘s definitely healthy, and in fact, by frying it, even the small calories disappear, so it might actually be a diet menu (lol). And adding salt makes the flavor even more intense and delicious . 店の食べましたか 、おいしいお野菜とおいしいお酒を楽しみました♪ English: Next up was the Kuroge Wagyu Carpaccio for 1,600 yen. This is a beautifully presented dish with a huge impact. Kuroge Wagyu beef, mushrooms, radishes, and cheese are a luxurious combination , and it’s the ultimate dish. Since it’s carpaccio, the acidity of the sauce is just right and it’s really delicious . If you do n’t mind the meat being a little raw, this is sure to be the perfect snack . If you see it on the menu, try ordering it. I’m sure you’ll be very satisfied! By the way, you can pay by cash or with PayPay or Merpay’s QR code . Neko Niboshi is a great place to enjoy delicious food in a homely atmosphere. It’s a great place to go for a quick drink or for a meal, with pasta, risotto, ramen, and more. The customer base is diverse, with women visiting alone , men on their way home from work, and couples . If you’re looking for a new restaurant or happen to be in the area, why not try Neko Niboshi for some delicious drinks and food? Thank you for always watching until the end.
