This tour is easily accessible via Tokyo’s bullet train. The Tohoku tour package is for those keen to connect with mythical Japanese lore, with snowy scenery paired with relaxing hot springs.

Chubu & Hokuriku Tours

This package is geared toward giving travelers interested in both snowy escapes and history an adventure through Japan’s past.

Highlights of this tour package include seeing classic and traditional Japanese homes covered in snow in an Unesco landmark area called Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. The thatched roofs were constructed to look like “like hands in prayer.” The farmhouses in the area are a marvel to see. Have winter seafood like crab or oysters and warm yourself up with hot springs among Japanese gardens like Kanazawa’sKenrokuen Gardenin this package.
