Naomi Osaka’s flower-themed outfits captivated tennis fans throughout the 2025 Grand Slam season.
Now the four-time major champion has tennis fashion enthusiasts buzzing with her latest announcement: her 2026 Grand Slam looks are “certified hits,” and Nike might finally make them available for purchase.
What Did Naomi Osaka Say About Her Nike Grand Slam Outfits for 2026?
Osaka began her 2025 season by wearing a sunflower-inspired outfit, complete with sunflower accessories, sunflower-detailed Nike shoes, and sunflower hair clips at the Australian Open. The bright, nature-inspired theme continued throughout the year, creating a cohesive visual story across the major tournaments.
At the French Open, she embraced a different floral concept, donning a pink outfit and a sakura-themed dress. She completed her look with cherry-blossom-pink shoes, perfectly matching the tournament’s clay court setting and springtime atmosphere.
The US Open showcased Osaka’s most elaborate fashion statements of the year. During her first-round match in New York, she entered the court wearing an all-red outfit that turned heads throughout the tennis complex. She completed her striking look with sparkly red roses braided into her hair, shimmering red headphones, and a jacket adorned with red crystals. She carried a customized red Labubu doll attached to her bag as an added personal touch.
Later in the New York tournament, Osaka switched to an equally eye-catching sparkly purple ensemble. This outfit featured a flowy skirt, a sparkly purple top, and a coordinating purple jacket that added another layer of glamour to her on-court presence.
Building on this successful year of tennis fashion, Osaka recently took to social media to share exciting news about her upcoming designs. She revealed that her Grand Slam outfits for 2026 are all “certified hits” and expressed a hope that Nike will finally sell her elaborate match outfits in stores.
“You know next year my slam fits are all certified hits and I think Nike is gonna sell them finally 🤣,” Osaka posted on Threads.

This wouldn’t be Osaka’s first venture into retail fashion with Nike. Through her collaboration with the brand, she has previously launched a collection that includes jackets, bomber jackets, and kimono-inspired bomber jackets. Additionally, she worked with fashion designer Yoon Ahn to create the day and night Nike kits for her 2024 US Open campaign.
Where Will Naomi Osaka Compete Next?
Following the conclusion of her 2025 US Open campaign, Osaka is scheduled to begin her participation in the Asian swing of the Tour. She is next expected to compete at the 2025 China Open, which takes place at the National Tennis Center in Beijing from September 24 to October 6, 2025.
The WTA 1000 hard-court tournament in Beijing will feature a strong field alongside Osaka. Players such as defending champion Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Świątek, Bianca Andreescu, Mirra Andreeva, Amanda Anisimova, Belinda Bencic, Katie Boulter, and Leylah Fernandez are also expected to participate in the tournament.
Osaka has positive memories from her previous appearance at the China Open. She began her 2024 campaign there by defeating Lucia Bronzetti 6-3, 6-2 in the first round. She triumphed over Yulia Putintseva 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 and Katie Volynets 6-3, 6-2 in the second and third rounds, respectively.
However, her promising run came to an unfortunate end in the fourth round. The former World No. 1 faced eventual champion Gauff but had to retire from the match due to an injury. The score was 3-6, 6-4 when she withdrew.
