Welcome to our first Video at Expo 2025 Osaka! We had a two-day ticket, with reservations starting at 9 AM on both days. It took us about 30 minutes to get through the entrance—there was a massive line, but surprisingly, no chaos.

Right at the start, we were super confused and a bit frustrated. So many people, long queues everywhere—it was pretty overwhelming! That’s why we didn’t get to see everything we planned on the first day, but we’re sharing what we managed to explore.

How to visit the pavilions:
There are four different types of access:
• Free Admission – no restrictions, just walk in.
• First Come – no reservation needed, but only if there’s no big rush.
• Reservation – on-site booking or close to the visit day.
• Advance Reservation – usually done 2 months oder 7 days oder 3 days ahead, often by lottery, kind of like VIP booking.

Pavilions and highlights:
• Ireland, Malaysia, Philippines – we only filmed the outside. Beautiful architecture, but not enough time to queue up.
• Dynamic Equilibrium – absolutely needs a reservation.
• Nul 2 – also required a reservation, but we couldn’t find any open slots.
• Anima – Live Earth Journey – we had a 7-day lottery reservation. Honestly, it wasn’t really worth it; there are definitely better pavilions out there.
• Commons D – free admission, and inside we explored Cuba, Mongolia, Moldova, and Nigeria.
• Romania, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Singapore, Italy, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Australia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Korea, Luxembourg, Osaka Metropolitan University Pavilion – we mostly filmed the outside of these. We’ll show the interiors in upcoming videos for some of them!
• Italy – a crazy line, about a 2-hour wait. We couldn’t find any available reservations.
• Osaka Health Care Pavilion – this one had free admission, so we could show both outside and inside.
• United States – the line was impossibly long, so no chance for us to go inside.
• Future City Pavilion – we had a lottery reservation, and it was worth it! It was interactive, had great concepts, and explained how Japan’s food culture is changing. Kawasaki Corleo was featured here, and it was definitely one of the highlights.

At the end of the day, we also had a reservation for the “Show Under the Rainbow,” which we’ll cover in a separate video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjcDtBOkbMc

Stay tuned for more videos from Day 2, and for detailed looks inside some of the most exciting pavilions, as well as other videos coming soon!
