Hello everyone! As you can see, today we’re riding the One Piece Shinkansen! Chopper is so cute! There’s even what looks like a Chopper mark on the seats…! Various places are decorated in One Piece style. This is adorable. Even the mirrors have One Piece designs! I’d been walking around the train looking at everything since boarding, so I took a short break. This rice ball is really delicious, I recommend it. This is what the connection between the Shinkansen cars looks like. The onboard announcements were in Chopper’s voice! Even the BGM was “We Are!” Amazing! It’s a shame, but it’s almost time to get off. Since we have the chance, I took a look at the entire train. This side is painted blue. I hope you all get a chance to ride it at least once! Now, let’s head out for a stroll around Osaka, the main goal of this trip. First, we’re planning to wander around the Nishinari area. We’ve arrived at Haginochaya Hondori Shopping Street. Let’s take a walk around the area. Since it’s a weekday, there aren’t many people. Super Tamade, a supermarket chain centered in Osaka Prefecture. There was an amazing signboard. It’s not on camera, but there were actually a lot of people drinking on the street. (lol) We continued on to Dobutsuen-mae Ichibangai. Nishinari Morning. The morning menu is alcohol 🍶 … As expected of Nishinari. Feeling a little hungry, so let’s have a croquette. Only 70 yen each—super cheap! As expected from Osaka. We’ve made it to Kuromon Market. There are lots of delicious-looking shops lined up. Is this a kimchi specialty shop? There were also many seafood shops. Lots of tasty-looking menu items posted up. The lanterns look so cool. Hey, there’s Kumamon over there! Red lanterns with “Kuromon” in black text—too cool. Walking under the lanterns. This entrance has a nice traditional Japanese style too. When you think of Osaka, is it takoyaki? I bought one boat of takoyaki. Thanks for the meal. The shop’s name is Tamafuku. After a short walk, we reached Karahori Shopping Street. A retro shopping street that locals frequent. Since it’s not a tourist spot, there were very few tourists. Turns out Osaka has quiet places without people too. Heading over to America-mura. Just a little more walking to reach America-mura. This reminds me of when I used to come shopping here often. The scenery is starting to look like America-mura. The famous Sankaku Park.
