Kobe, Japan – An AMAZING City Only 20 Minutes From Osaka! | Day Trip | Vlog

[Music] So, we’re walking our way to Women Station. It’s 7:40 in the morning. It’s a beautiful hour we’re walking through. Very peaceful to see students going to school. Said good morning to an old lady. This is a nicer station than I was expecting, Daisy. I thought this would be like a little regional station. This thing looks grand. So, I just trying to walk through Pope here and there’s a giant forest on a mountain there. Kind of looks like a giant ball in the sky. Daisy, how much longer do we have to hike this? What? What the hell? Tailless. Tailless lizard. What the hell? Lizard, what happened to your tail? Oh, sometimes they they’re used to that. Venus Bridge. That’s right. [Music] Oh, well, there you go. It’s a pretty big port. So, that’s cool. [Music] We’re walking towards the Chinatown here. unini shop and they’re making it fresh. Okay, we got this um I think it’s like a pork miso pork flavor. They just made it fresh. So, how’s it? [Music] See a little market here. Kind of like a normal grocery store. What do you think of the mish? I think. Do you want to build the snow king? Oh, how quiet. That’s you. Chinatown of cop. And this time we’re not sleep deprived. And hopefully we’ll find better food. They have beer vending machines in Japan. Cheap, too. Dollar $120 for a beer. Fish in the forest. We made it to the oceanside here in Coobe. This is really relaxing, isn’t it? Yeah. See, kids come out here with their teachers. They’re not stuck in an elementary school prison all day. This is something I can never imagine happening in America, though. Be like stranger danger. They only they would only allow us behind like prison walls. That’s kind of a cool old style boat. This is a mall in Coobe. It’s kind of nice. Looks like they got a Robocop here. Oh my god, that’s adorable. This is very surprising. I didn’t think they would have a crispy cream in Japan. And we’re not even in like a major city in Japan. This is Kobe. Pac-Man in Japan. What is this thing? It’s like a marble thing. Oh, wow. That’s so cute. [Music]

Daisy and I visit Kobe, Japan where we wander and hike a bit. While this video is on the shorter side, we hope it gives you some ideas as to what can be done in Kobe. It’s easy to visit – both Shinkansen and local trains go here!

Besides what we covered in this video, we recommend that you check out the following. There’s an area full of European Victorian style old homes that used to be embassies. Kobe was even featured in the movie “Grave of the Fireflies” – it’s where the story takes place. Obviously Kobe is world known for its beef – we did have a steak in Kobe, but ours wasn’t terribly good, so it didn’t make it to this video. Finally – Kobe has a slightly infamous reputation, as it was in Kobe where the Yakuza first started. We think it’s worth visiting, especially given that it’s only 45 minutes and a $4 ticket away from Osaka, just make sure to plan your day carefully and don’t wear yourself out too early like we did :).
