We stayed at the luxurious Hyatt Resort, enjoyed breathtaking views at Manzamo Cape and Cape Hedo, and visited the famous Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium to see its 30-year-old whale shark. On Kouri Island, we experienced a traditional Japanese guesthouse and discovered some fun local stories. Day 2 took us to Zamami Island for my very first snorkeling adventure—exhausting but absolutely worth it! And of course, we ended the trip with a delicious feast of local Okinawan Wagyu beef.
