Walk Around Tokyo’s Luxury District 🇯🇵 Trying Kobe Beef in Ginza!

Welcome back to Ginza, Tokyo’s most
glamorous district, where luxury shopping, high-end dining, and modern
elegance meet traditional charm. From flagship fashion houses to Michelin star
restaurants, Ginza has long been a symbol of sophistication in Japan. This
time, instead of the weekend buzz, we are here on a weekday to stroll in stylish
streets and discover a lunch spot I’ve been really excited to try for the very
first time. Let’s go. All right. Welcome to Ginza, Tokyo,
the posh and shopping district of Tokyo. This is on a normal day in Ginza as compared to the other day where they
close out this road. So this stretch has a lot of
designer labels, luxury labels. And this Ginza Kimuraya is uh
the original pan bun. This is the OG. So there’s a significant
difference in Ginza on a weekday as compared to
a Sunday where Sunday is a no car day. So you’re free to walk
around even in the middle of the streets and on the weekday and
today is a Friday. Uh yeah, you can see the usual office
crowd and tourists. You can see people queuing up in front
of the shops because most shops here only open at around 11 a.m. So yeah. So let’s go into Muji for lunch. Oh, we are having wagyu for lunch?
Nice. Finally. Okay, it’s lunch time now. Uh, we are
looking for lunch most likely. Wagyu
because we haven’t had one since we came. Yeah, we haven’t wagyu had since we came. So, yeah, I guess it’s fitting since we are leaving in a couple of days time. Heijoen is a long established yakiniku chain
that’s been around since the 1970s and is known for serving some of the finest
A5 wagyu in Tokyo. They use a whole cow buying system, so every cut you get is
top quality, not just the premium ones. Reviews are really solid with a 4.3 star
rating on Google and people often mention how the beef just melts in your
mouth. With that kind of history and
reputation, I knew I had to try the wagyu lunch set here in Ginza. All right. So, we are here for our wagyu. Okay. So, this is their lunch set. Arigato gozaimasu Oh, okay. Thank you. They have a grand menu as well. This set is really special because it
comes with kobe beef along with three different kinds of wagyu. The kobe beef is
incredibly marbled and just melts the second it touches your tongue. It’s so
rich and buttery. Then you’ve got cuts with more balance, still tender with a
juicy bite and leaner pieces that bring out a deep meaty flavor. I love that you
get a taste of wagyu in all these different ways in just one meal. And for a kobe
beef set in Ginza, it’s actually really affordable, making it such a great
choice for a first timer like me. How was your meal?
Good. Good. Good. Nice. That was a very satisfying meal. Uh,
it’s actually my first time, first wagyu experience, which is great. I love it.
It’s a nice quiet restaurant. They even have mouthwash in the
washroom for you to use. Okay, continue. Shopping time. One of the most popular places to buy
things. Itoya sells stationeries and souvenirs.
So yeah, it’s always crowded with people getting small souvenirs or
stationeries to bring home. That’s all from our weekday stroll
around Ginza. If you haven’t seen our weekend Ginza adventure yet, don’t
forget to check it out. I’ll leave the link where we feature some districts in
Tokyo you really shouldn’t miss. Thanks for joining me and until next
time, sayonara and travel safe.

  1. Wow, the wagyu looked delicious. Thank you for sharing your walk around the area. Not sure if we’ll have time when we will be in Tokyo next year.

  2. ya man.. its really great price for Kobe beef. In Malaysia, this exact set would be doubled the price at least. Btw.. how was the Anpan?
