Stop wasting money on hotels in Tokyo – rent an apartment instead – full Kinshicho Airbnb tour!

Stop wasting money on tiny Tokyo hotel rooms and welcome to the world’s most practical apartment instead. Come in, but take off your shoes first. One step and we’re in the first of two multi-use spaces. Here’s the kitchen and hallway. One of the best things about short-term rentals is that everything is prepped for you. Perfect for testing out life in Japan. Next, the cutest mini office and the infamous trash station. Trash in Japan is complicated, but thankfully we have a team sorting it out for us. Hello from the all-in-one bedroom, living room, and dining room. In my last video, I showed this lamp that doubles as a projector along with my other favorite features of this apartment. This gadget is perfect for movie nights. There’s also built-in storage and a balcony that’s way too hot to use right now. Japan lives in the future, and when it comes to this bathroom, it’s true. In here, you’ll find a laundry machine, toilet, shower, bath, and a TV. All with features you’ve never seen anywhere else. Too bad it’s literally all in Japanese. But now you and I have one more reason to learn. If you are not trying out the apartments in Japan, you are missing out on three times the space and half the price, which you will find in the caption. Make sure to follow for more Japan hacks.

Have you ever wanted to try out living in Japan? 🇯🇵

If you’ve been to Tokyo and fell in love with it, I highly recommend renting an apartment for your next trip.

You get more space, lower the costs and you’ll get to see more local neighborhoods and parts of the city. You also get to try more grocery shopping (their food shops are amazing) and get to dig deeper and get to know a whole other side of the city.

Although square meters in Tokyo don’t come cheap, it’s actually cheaper than a hotel room or weekly rental in most places. 😊 It’s also the perfect way to slow-travel for a bit instead of taking trains all over the country during your visit!

How did I like living in Tokyo?
I’ve wanted to try living in Tokyo for years and this summer I finally took the plunge and decided to call Tokyo home for a while. And here’s what our little Japanese home looked like.

I don’t know if I’d like to live in Tokyo forever but if you never try you’ll never know. Trying it out for a period of time is a very simple way to see if you’re just into the idea of living somewhere else, or if you could actually get serious about moving there. For now, I’m torn. I can easily see myself spending more time in Tokyo and returning frequently, and my focus is currently on making this a possibility. I’m however not too keen on the logistics of setting up a life there. 🤔
