Beautiful Hidden Gem & Anime Pilgrimage | Beautiful Summer Trip to Nagano | JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG

Hi, I’m Daisuke😊Thank you for watching! This time, I’ll be traveling to Nagano for two days and one night, surrounded by beautiful mountains and offering cool, clean air even in summer🏔 This video is the first day of the trip, and I visit the location that was the setting for director Makoto Shinkai’s anime “Your Name,” a pond that is famous as a photogenic spot, and a little-known castle where I can get a real feel of Japan😉 The video for the second day of the trip will be uploaded next time, so please enjoy both videos✨ Let’s enjoy the trip together👍 Tateishi Park is a park full of nature located at an altitude of 938 meters in Suwa City. It looks just like the town of Itomori that appears in Makoto Shinkai’s film “Your Name,” and is a popular spot for anime fans and those who want to see beautiful scenery. I am also a big fan of director Makoto Shinkai, and have watched “Your Name” many times😄 Wow! What a beautiful view😮 Director Makoto Shinkai is said to be from Nagano Prefecture, so perhaps he created Itomori Town after seeing this scenery. It looks very similar to the view of Itomori Town✨ It was a very nice place😊 Next, I head to a photogenic spot that’s popular on social media🚙 I’ve seen this place many times in photos on social media, and it’s a place I’ve wanted to go for a long time,
so I’m looking forward to it😊 Mishaka Pond is located in the mountains surrounded by nature in Toyohira, Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, and is a beautiful pond that has been selected as one of Japan’s “100 Best Reservoirs.” Although it is located in the mountains and there are no facilities nearby, many people visit just to see the pond😮 The color of the pond’s water is fantastic and beautiful beyond words. I feel truly blessed to be alive and able to see this pond. Takashima Castle was built in 1598 by a vassal of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and served as the residence of the Suwa clan for 270 years. It is now open to the public as a park. It stands tall and magnificently😮 Did samurai cross here in the past? The castle is built to be sturdy so that it cannot be invaded. There is a lot of beautiful nature within the castle🌳 I’ve been wondering for a while now, what is that hole?🤔 There are holes of various shapes. It’s all over the walls. They say they used this hole to check for suspicious people and to shoot arrows through it when enemies attacked. I’ll try to look through the hole, pretending to be a samurai from that time😊 I can clearly see the other side of the moat😮 It’s really big when you see it up close👀 It seems you can go to the castle tower. There aren’t many people so it’s a hidden gem👍 Next I head a little further away from Nagano, but I’ve come to a place where, if you’re lucky, you can see a sea of clouds. Take the lift to the top, which is about 2000 meters above sea level. I came all the way to this place to see the sea of clouds. It seems to be a popular place😳 It’s a very beautiful view. It looks like there won’t be a sea of clouds today 😥 Let’s have a nice drink to clear away the disappointment 😂 Stay tuned for the next video of Day 2✨

I went to visit the beautiful city of Nagano, nestled among mountains almost right in the center of Japan.
Even in summer, the cool, clean air made for a truly relaxing trip✨
It was a great trip, visiting places that were the setting for director Makoto Shinkai’s anime and hidden tourist spots!
