Places That Don’t Feel Real – Photographing Japan’s Hidden Gems

[Music] are insane, you guys. Look at the crib. Nice freaking couch set up. We got the smallest mirror ever. So, try and get it in all there. That’s a small mirror. Got a little setup right here. GoPro. GoPro. Hi. You know. Yes. Milo. Milo. That’s not cute. This bathroom hut be looking freaking insane that nature. And you got that bathroom. I just rang that freaking bear bell. So, if there’s any bears out here, not anymore. We’re back. Left this on the bus stop. Fell out of my bag. You know, you lose something in Japan, nobody’s taking it. They will help you out. They will make sure you don’t go without your stuff. And you know, that’s why I love it here. And now we back. I got it. I got it. Talk about going up, up and away here at the ferris wheel out in Nagoya. Coming up. Great building view and an even better view coming in. And yep. 3 2 1. It’s in. Oh yeah, it’s a good one down there. Be Oh, wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Very hot. That is a hot one. The next stop is [Music] Okay, we found the spot. We now have a roller coaster. We’ve got to try and get these bags down really down this alleyway, too. There’s our house. It’s literally surrounded by other houses. We’ve got Open Sesame. Oh, yeah. Look at our place. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Giant TV. Who’s going to watch a TV this big in Beu? We got a full on kitchen. Okay. Okay. Oh, now this is the view. The narrowest, steepest staircase of all time. Wait for this one. Oh, in the darkest light. That’s the rumble train right there. You’re going to get bumped and bonked on there. Chicken. Good. Chicken. Lemon. Oh, yeah. Lemon chicken. Got to start off that morning, right? Now that’s pretty crazy. If you got to ask me, I would tell you that is pretty crazy. up. [Music] You ready? I’m ready. [Music] We’re pros. We’re pros. Well, we missed all this. Oh, guys. Hey, we did pretty good. Not even too cold out here, huh? I wouldn’t say so. Just in the uh the city of Nigat, huh? Reminds me of like downtown Cold Staff. Downtown Cold Staff, if you ask me. Oh, I thought it wasn’t cold. Well, for you it is. Oh, okay. Town’s woman cold reporter. It seems like there’s a lot of places open for everything closes in at 8. Maybe it’s everywhere opens at 8. And there we go. We’ve got our uh we got our report. [Music] Silia. Yeah. Look at red. Some superior action today. Been pretty hard to find this stuff. Didn’t find it in Japan. Found it in Korea. I don’t know what that is, but it has a good crunch. And Greg got the craziest thing ever. Seven pieces. Seven pieces. So it’s time to dig in. I’m so cold. on hands. They’re about to fall off, I think. We just found a ridge for sunset at 4:30. But it’s cold. It’s very cold. It’s colder than South Korea. It’s colder than literally anything ever. No, my butterfly fell off. This charm on my phone. It’s just this. It was literally like this and every part of it just fell off one by one. We’re going to go to a camera store that’s inside and not outside cuz it’s cold. No, it’s an outdoor one. Okay. And like I have three sweaters on right now, but I feel like I need like four. Do you think it’s chilly? It’s pretty cold outside. I would say it’s pretty cold. thrifting in Japan. Trying to Everything here is so damn expensive. Okay, some French dude. He’s got a scarf. The scarf is $50. The mountains out there got snow on them way out there. They got that snow. [Music] on the way to Oh, no. We’re not on the way to Nigat. We’re on the way to Suka. All right, we’re back. We stopped because the mountain, you can see the snow melting and turning into steam and this field and these trees. Oh man, just absolutely gorgeous. We had to stop. They’re taking out the Fuji Superior. Throwing some gold. Let’s shoot some more. Coming down the road singing crazy traina. We’re back still in Nigata cuz we went to the fivetory pagod yesterday. Beautiful out here. Going to do a little rant right now. We’re out here. It’s beautiful. But we’re also photographers. We’re trying to get great photos out here. We need light for our photo. And now the the sun’s gone. We got here at 3:30, about the same time the sun went down yesterday, and there’s nothing. And was a little disappointing just cuz of some bad sunlight conditions and, you know, missing a lot of other cool things. We need to see it again um in its glory. There’s a waterfall out there we need to take pictures of. There’s a lot of things. So, we’re coming to conquer for the second time. So, this is going to be awesome. Oh god, this thing’s just so majestic. [Music]
