  1. So if I have to replace a list phone I can’t use it otherwise I don’t get back the tax ?😒

  2. How would I set up my portable WiFi router before heading to Japan? Is there a particular brand/website that is recommended?

  3. Hi Meg, so just to confrim JESTA will be implemeted 2028. All those visa exempt countries do not required anything like JESTA for now? Thank you

  4. Very good information for tourists . pls keep sharing love . How do we contact you for trips and tour. Can you make video about how you travel from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji, osaka and other cities . How to travel cheap. it would be good if tourists have this information.

  5. when I heard the 160Wh Mobile Battery Restriction, I thought you meant the charging limit 😂 glad I double checked again, the battery charger I have is a super high capacity charger but I checked the stats and it says it’s 140W so as long as they don’t make it too much lower I’ll be good to go 😊

  6. I am retired and finding it too expensive (property tax is more than my social security income) to remain in the US. S America is full of drug gang violence and corruption. EU is overrun with migrants and is becoming a North Korean style censored dictatorship. Japan is really the only country with a compatible culture that I love. The problem is, I'm not under 40 and I don't have a Masters Degree. I could live well in rural Japan, as many of the houses for sale are less than a years' property taxes in the US. I could easily buy one and move in, but to remain legally is the problem. I can't afford $6000 airline tickets to move my whole family back and forth every 3 months. Is there a way I could legally stay and retire unmolested by my government, in rural Japan?

  7. I always use my ATM bank card in Japan (on a military US base), not a credit card to get money from an ATM. My next trip to Sasebo is during the cherry blossom season 🙂

  8. I have no AC, I only use fans.
In most EU countries almost all houses do not have AC, some have AC.
It is very costly to install AC.
At work we have AC but when it is hot in the summer than our office is like a freezer, we sit in the office wearing sweaters and scarves, and if you're not far from the AC vent, which is in the ceiling, the person there wears a hat to protect their head from the freezing airflow.

In winter, it's sweltering in our office, and we usually wear light clothing because the AC makes it too warm.

The AC manager in the building says it's normal and he can't or isn't allowed to change anything.

  9. Tax free is 10% and you have to spend a certain amount. Not worth the hassle of queuing, keeping everything sealed.

  10. This is great! I am traveling to Japan in the next month and it is my first time! Thank you for the information!

  11. Really clear breakdown of Japan’s 2025 entry rules! 🇯🇵✈ This kind of info saves travelers so much confusion. I also share flight hacks & travel tips on my channel Fly Logic 🌍 — always great to connect with creators helping people travel smarter.

  12. I completed all the stuff needed on the visit Japan site and still took an hour to get through Haneda. Until Japanese immigration realises you should open up more booths when it's busy you will always have queues.

  13. The immigration is very slow, i almost missed the last buss to reach my destination. Since English communications are problems
