Surpassing Tokyo?! Japan’s Near-Future Metropolis of 2030 – Osaka You Don’t Know
This video really showed us how the Osaka-Umeda area is constantly evolving. The Umekita area, in particular, has been a hub of development, starting with the Grand Front Osaka in 2013, followed by the massive Yodobashi Umeda Tower in 2019, and now with Grand Green Osaka. When the entire project is completed in 2027, Osaka is set to become one of Japan’s most stunningly advanced futuristic cities.
I’ve visited Tokyo several times, and while it might be bigger, I really feel that when it comes to the sheer beauty and futuristic design, the pace of development in Osaka-Umeda far exceeds that of Tokyo. If you’re interested in Japan, or if you’ve already visited or live here, you should definitely come and experience the vibe of this futuristic city for yourself!
