Fukkan announced on social media it will release a reprint of the Romancing SaGa 2 manga in Japan. It is expected to arrive at the end of the year, sometime between October and December 2025. It ended up chosen as a result of fan requests.
Product pages for the Romancing SaGa 2 manga reprints are already live on the Fukkan site. The entire series lasted for three volumes when it first ran starting in 1994. Each single one could be purchased for 1,980円 (~$14), while the bundle with all three will cost 5,940円 (~$40). Each one will be an A5-size book, with one expected to release each month. The first volume will launch in October 2025, with the ensuing second and third ones in November 2025 and December 2025. Each one is an adaptation of the game’s story so far.

This isn’t the first return of this installment in recent years. In 2024, Square Enix released a remake called Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. After the Switch 2 launch, an update file for it appeared.
The Romancing SaGa 2 three-volume manga reprint will start to appear in Japan again in October 2025. The original game appeared on the Super Famicom in Japan. Eventually, ports and remakes of it appeared on systems like the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, Vita, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.
