I've been doing a lot of online digging for OEM parts to use for my 1999 Honda Accord CF4. What I've been reading is that cruise control was an option "possibly" for these Accords in Japan but unfortunately mines didn't come with it so it had me thinking I can order OEM parts and either install them myself or have a professional do it. So far, I'm not having any luck finding much and other option is to go with a universal cruise control system which I don't want to do. Does anyone have any information on this?

I’m not sure about Honda, or even with 90s cars, but we had a 2008 Subaru Legacy, and to add cruise control was to change a sensor on the brake peddle, add the steering wheel buttons, disconnect the 12v battery and reconnect it, and it would load in the cruise control module, and you had cruise control.
However I wouldn’t be surprised if a 90s car needed a few more speed sensors etc, and possibly had to have some factory options included, like ABS.
Good luck!
