We wondered where Vanessa and Nick Lachey were headed when they listed their Encino pad in June after just a year of ownership. Turns out, they’re moving back into their old place: Naomi Osaka bought the Tarzana, Los Angeles, home from the Love is Blind hosts in 2022 for $6.3 million, and they recently paid $7.95 million to add the 2014-built Cape Cod–style dwelling back to their real estate portfolio, per the Wall Street Journal. The outlet reports that Osaka made her mark in her three years of residency there, with renovations that included the addition of a separate gym. The Lacheys paid a touch under $5 million when they first bought the five-bedroom home in 2020.

The longtime couple originally parted ways with the half-acre plot in order to relocate to the Aloha State, where Vanessa was filming NCIS: Hawai’i. When the series was canceled after three seasons last year, they sold their Honolulu home and made the move back to California, shelling out $6.8 million for the Encino farmhouse that they are currently looking to sell.

Osaka’s newly-added gym sits in the backyard, abutting the sports court and swimming pool that already graced the well-manicured plot. The fully equipped fitness area is emblazoned with the Japanese athlete’s name and personal logo. An adjacent recovery center features a sauna, cold plunge, steam room, and massage table.

The five-bedroom contemporary main home spans 6,855 square feet. It features fold-away doors uniting the neutral-hued interiors with the outdoors and the mountain views beyond. The fireplace-warmed living room boasts a coffered ceiling and built-ins, while the cream-colored kitchen is outfitted with two spacious islands, a massive double-door refrigerator, a sunny breakfast room, and dark hardwood floors. The upper floor offers over 600 square feet of outdoor space, including two balconies off of the primary suite.
