The one from 1983 is less driven and I like this front more, but everything depends on how you feel the car, may be first look on both of them.

I would skip the preludes to be honest. I had one and it’s a nightmare to find replacement parts for simple things like mounts and bushings, all kinds of random stuff. Not to mention when the 4WS is not working or going to break u will have a shitty time repair it

Testdrive the 4WS Model. Friend of me has one, drives like a forklift, very fun to drive but a little bit strange at first. If you like it , buy it and have fun with this really rare system. If the driving sensation is unsetling to you ( some people get sick in it ) get the lower milage one. Also a good car but without the 4WS party trick.
